From Chengdu: Panda Base and Giant Buddha in One Day

With pickup from your Chengdu downtown hotel at 8:00 am, your Chengdu highlight trip starts. You will firstly visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda, as the pandas are very active in the morning. There you will see lovely furry giant pandas of all ages eating and playing, have a chance to see the very cute baby pandas, as well as documents and pictures of how these little pink mouse-size things grow to giant white and black chubby pandas.

Then have a 2 hours driving to Leshan Grand Buddha. After enjoy delicious lunch in the local restaurant, take a cruise to have a whole view sightseeing of the Leshan Giant Buddha included by UNESCO on the list of the World Heritage sites. Facing the river, the Buddha has symmetrical posture and looks which have been beautifully captured in its solemn stillness. Afterwards, drive back to Chengdu and return to your hotel to conclude the highlights day trip.
