We were looking for a simple half-day tour to get a little more information about the vineyards of the Saint-Emilion region from Bordeaux. Without a car, Planet Grands Crus allowed us to have a very nice experience. A mini private bus (6 people) from Bordeaux brought us to a vineyard (Chateau de Chambrun of Domaine de Moncets) for a visit and first tasting of their wines and then a visit to Saint-Emilion for a second tasting at Cellier St-Emilion. The information of the wines offered allowed us to learn a lot about the region and the type of wines of the Bordeaux region. The tour we took was in English but I would recommend it to Canadian Francophones as well because the escorts are all Francophone and can answer and explain the tour in detail if necessary. Very nice experience and thank you to Zoe, our companion (a very dynamic and kind person) and Gilda who allowed us this last minute booking visit.
