From Bled: Black Hole Kayaking
Description
Experience the unique adventure through an underground mine on this 8-hour adventure from Bled. Drive two hours to the abandoned mine and descend for 15 minutes into the depths of the earth on an original old mining train. Explore the abandoned mines in complete darkness, with only the illumination of headlights to light your way. Temperature in the mines is only around 10 degrees Celsius, so guest should bring warm clothes. Kayaking equipment is provided and hotel pickup and drop-off is included. Guests stay underground for about 3-4 hrs, beginning with original mining train ride, followed by walking over steep stairs follows with staying on the water for about 1,5 hrs, while doing some kayaking. This special excursion is suitable for beginners as well as experienced kayakers.

Please give our driver +/- 10 min or so, due to multiple pick-up locations. Please send us the address of your accommodation in Bled. If you don’t stay in Bled, the meeting point is pr1motours.com, Ljubljanska cesta 20, 4260 Bled. If you come with your car, please come earlier to find the parking, thank you.

- Pick-up / departure time can vary and can be anything from 5.40 AM until 8 AM, depending on the availability. All guests will be notified about exact time of departure one day before the tour.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Not recommended for participants with back problems, heart complaints or other serious medical conditions
- The tour operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately (no refund due to weather or personal reasons).
- A current valid passport or EU personal ID card is required on the day of travel (driving license or any other means of id is not sufficient) because we will across the border couple times
- Bring warmer clothes, temperature in the mines is only around 10 degrees Celsius (long sleeves, pants & closed shoes recommended). Bring some extra clothes in your backpack for just in case.
- Maximum shoe size is EU 47.
- Minimum height is 150 cm.
- Mountain roads included for the transfer, make appropriate precautions if you have car sickness.
- Adult price applies for all guests

Really fantastic experience. Many thanks to your knowledgable driver and the wonderful kayak guide. We stopped at some really interesting places on the trip there which made the drive to the caves very enjoyable. A unique experience.

Fantastic day. The whole trip was an adventure. The entrance of the mine with the train, the walk down in the mine, the walk with the kajak and of course the kajak tour. Also the lunch with the local specialites was very good. If you look for a special experience: book this tour

This was more than expected! The drive through Slovenia and Austria to reach the mine was so picturesque and made even better with both the information provided by our driver Sasha, and the stops we made en route on the mountain passes. The black hole kayaking was so much fun, being allowed to go off "on our own" to explore the passages in the dark. Be prepared for walking up and down some steps to reach the kayaking stage but the lunch afterwards was a nice treat and they catered for gluten-free guests excellently too.
The trip was managed very nicely. We took a stop around Milka valley and Primo was explainign to us how the valley was named and allowed us time to laze around and take a few nice shots. The black hole kayaking experience was also very unique and nicely managed. They catered to my food requirements and provided me a nice vegetarian lunch upon the end of the trip. Highly recommended tour and the tour providers.

The underground kayaking in an abandoned mine is a really cool experience. Well organized transport made interesting with a few nice stops and interesting and fun facts and background about Slovenia.
