Discover Alsace on our unforgettable excursion from Basel to Colmar, Hohkönigsburg and Ribeauvillé! Immerse yourself in a world of cultural discoveries, scenic beauty and culinary delights. This excursion takes place weekly every Friday and offers you a journey through the breathtaking landscape of Alsace, past vineyards and idyllic villages. Participants will receive a brochure (DE/EN) with all relevant information, including the ticket for the Hohkönigsburg, on the day of the excursion on the outward journey. We recommend that you wear clothing adapted to the weather and comfortable shoes. Animals are not allowed on this excursion. Attention : As this excursion crosses the national border, you must present a valid ID or passport at the beginning. It is also advisable to carry some cash. The national currency in France is the euro.

09.00 am: Meeting point Basel
09.15–10.15: Departure to Colmar
10.30am-1.30pm: Visit Colmar Your first destination is Colmar, known as the "Little Venice" of Alsace. Stroll through the narrow streets of the old town, admire the colorful half-timbered houses and sample local specialties in a typical Alsatian restaurant.
1.30 p.m.–2.15 p.m.: Continue to Haut-Koenigsbourg
14:15–16:00 : Visit to Hohkönigsburg Afterwards, you can visit the majestic Hohkönigsburg, a medieval castle perched high above the vineyards. Explore its imposing walls, enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of this historic site.
16.00 - 16.30 : Continue to Ribeauvillé
16.45–17.45 : Visit Ribeauvillé Finally, our excursion will take you to Ribeauvillé, a charming medieval village known for its picturesque streets and excellent wines. Here you have the opportunity to enjoy a wine tasting at a local winery and experience the hospitality of the locals.
17.45–18.45 : Return to Basel

The tour is fine, all the stops are spectacular, there are no explanations of the sites, of course, they leave you for you to investigate on your own.
Great tour. The driver is a driver, but not a trip director, explaining the hisory on Alsace, the economy, the food for instance etc.
