Taniel was an awesome dive instructor and guide! The sunken prison is a really unique dive site, and looks otherworldly underwater. Taniel went out of his way to provide a refresher dive course and ensured that I was comfortable all through the experience. Would highly recommend for a very unique experience near Tallin!
Unforgettable freediving in the middle of an abandoned prison, houses and forest. The depth reaches up to 14m and you can swim inside houses, in the middle of a sunken forest, or just look up and down at an abandoned city. The instructor is very loyal, helps and tells you what to do and how. An unforgettable experience.
My freediving experience at Rummu Quarry was nothing short of exhilarating. The instructor was professional and safety-conscious, making sure that I felt comfortable throughout the experience. Prior to the dive, the instructor was also very responsive to questions and requests. The 1°C cold temperature on land and the ‘warm’ 7°C waters didn’t dampen my experience. Nonetheless, for divers who are more used to the tropical regions (e.g. Bali, Cebu etc), I’d suggest to join at a warmer time.
