You can read all sorts of guides until the cows come home for the best places to eat in Jaipur but that will rarely take you out of the restaurant, in the real lush food jungle that is Jaipur. We are here to help get the best of Indian street food! On the food tour, we'll make our way through eight of the city's best stands of street food, exploring the town at the same time. Our tour will bring you to secret food havens nestled throughout this beautiful town and along the way you'll learn about the history of it, from a true insider. So join other enthusiasts, and fill your stomach with delicious dishes, and our mind with fun history, rich culture, and story insights of the neighborhood we visit. Please note that the time and date of the tour are flexible so if the default time doesn't suit you feel free to message me and we can figure it out. By default, the tour will start at 6:30 pm.

We had a great time with Albert, he was friendly and knowledgeable and showed us about 10-12 different local foods. Almost every food i hadn’t tried before so i’m very glad we had this experience. The walking distances are relatively short and you get to see lots of street life. We moved promptly between each food spot (but not rushed) which i like compared to an overkill of standing around and waiting between locations. Only critique would be that the tripadvisor contact told me that the tour started at 7pm not 6:30 so we were late , but even then Albert waited for us so we didn’t miss anything. Would recommend! Thank you!
I had a great time on this street food tour in the evening. Diksha was a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and great at explaining what we were eating along the way. I especially liked learning that “chaat” isn’t just one dish, but a whole style of Indian street food—full of tangy, sweet, and spicy flavors all combined together. Trying things like dahi puri, sev puri, and aloo tikki made a lot more sense with that context. Everything felt authentic, well-paced, and easy to follow. It’s also a great option for solo travelers who want to explore street food in a relaxed and approachable way.
Our guide took us to the foodstreets of New Jaipur. She let us taste some lovely local food and explained and showed a lot about how it is prepared as well. We really recommend this tour. It's value for money.
Diksha was an excellent guide with great insights and knowledge about the street food. She was very enthusiastic and friendly and led us to all the best vendors who she seemed to know well.
We loved our tour with Diksha! She was very knowledgeable, funny and it was nice to see that she knows the other locals and vendors well. The dishes and sweet treats were also great. We tried food that we would never have tried if it wasn’t for the tour. We definitely recommend it. You do try a lot of dishes so make sure to arrive on an empty stomach or to snack lightly prior.
Wonderful variety of street food that I would not have tried on my own, and guide was knowledgeable and well spoken. Highly recommend!
Great experience, food selection was interesting and delicious and tour guide very knowledgeable. A must-do in Jaipur.
A great must do in Jaipur if you like Indian food . You are taken to many cafes and street food places , at each Akbar explained what we were eating and often how to eat it ! Akbar made the tour flexible to our needs and nothing was too much trouble. His knowledge was extensive and we felt safe and confident wandering the streets, in fact we felt like locals ! Definitely recommend 👍
A really interesting food experience for visiting Jaipur. Our guide was explained the different dishes and we saw how they are made. Some were in cafes, others street food but all were lovely. My favourite was the potato fritters and the Indian version of nachos. All were vegetarian. There were 7 in our group. Really good value and excellent trip.
I received a message saying my reservation might be canceled because I would be the only guest on the tour. They said I would get full after just 3 or 4 dishes. Clearly, they have never seen me eat. It is not my job to convince a business to take my money, so I told them to cancel.
Hello, Enoch We thank you for taking your time to book our food tour in Jaipur. It is also clearly mentioned that we require a minimum of two guests to host the tour. And the same information was communicated with you in the morning. Hope to host you soon. Save Travels
