Do not miss anything in Florence, by listening about it.

One of the best TouringBee guides I had. Because Florence has a compact but very saturated old medieval center, this guide really helped to notice all the important details, as well as added a lot of funny stories for context. Best to use on your first day in Florence, so you know what to do in the following days!

Florence self guided walking tour

The tour was very varied and informative with many points of interest. August in Florence is very busy, so much of the walk was more like a shuffle which made it very tiring. The audio was good with just the right amount of detail. We hit the cathedral at its busiest time, so we came back to this later in the day when the queues had quietened down. I’m very much in favour of a self guided walking tour with audio so I can take my time working my way round the route and know that I’m going to see the highlights of the city.

Operator response

We’re glad to hear you enjoyed exploring Florence with TouringBee and that our audioguide helped you discover the city’s highlights at your own pace. Florence in August can indeed be very busy, and we understand how that can make the walk more tiring. We’ll keep working to make the experience even smoother. We hope you’ll travel with TouringBee again and that next time we’ll earn a full 5-star rating.

APP does not work!

The directional component of this app was not functioning properly in the city. We lost time using the directional portion and our location

Operator response

We’re sorry to hear the directional feature didn’t work well during your visit. GPS can sometimes be affected in dense city areas or near tall buildings, which may cause delays or inaccuracies in positioning. Even so, the audio content remains fully accessible by selecting stops manually — and we’re constantly working to improve location accuracy across devices. We hope you were still able to enjoy parts of the tour, and that you’ll give TouringBee another try in the future!
