We payed for the gardens as well and were not told that we should go into gardens before the pitta tour. So we completely missed the gardens. I’m beyond upset as we were so looking forward to the gardens. This is the 2nd trip I booked through your company that has been miss leading and we missed the experiences promised to be included
Obtaining the tickets was difficult at the site. I had to go to the ticket office and they were able to find the tickets.....but it took a lot more time than it should have. We explored the gardens....but did not visit the palace. Plus, when I went to the ticket office they told me I could have gotten tickets for a quarter of the price. I am not happy about being taken advantage of. A couple years ago we booked a visit to Segovia and it was cancelled the day before....we made the trip, but arranged it with the concierge at the hotel. I thought I would give them a chance to redeem yourself but was once again disappointed. The service was once again not useful.....I will not use Viator again.
The audio experience was not so good. There was no audio for the Pitti Palace. The fact you don't get the actual tickets until the day before creates a bit of a problem for someone who isn't the most tech savvy(Me). Anyway after a few harrowing minutes the ticket taker was very helpful in backtracking our admission and let us in.
Superb palace and less frequented than other monuments On the other hand very complicated to get entrance tickets It was necessary to move to the Agency closed during the opening hours ... a lot of lost time
Thank you for your review. We are delighted that you enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens! We sincerely apologize for any confusion regarding the ticket collection. To ensure a seamless experience, we typically send all official tickets directly via email or WhatsApp, allowing guests to go straight to the entrance. While our office is available for those who specifically request printed copies, a physical visit is usually not required.
Absolutely ruined our tour and our day. Instructions were confusing at best. There was nobody answering the “help” options. The ticket (which took us an hour to locate) kept timing out and disappearing, depending on cell service. There was no consistent wifi available at the Palace which meant the audio tour alsokept timing out and dropping. We would have been far better off to just buy tickets on site and COMPLETELY SKIP Viator. We will be requesting a full refund. This service was 100% unacceptable. We completely regret booking it.
hi thanks for your review your feedback means alot for us we will pass this query to the concern team and they will check into it
Overall, the communication was completely unacceptable. There were three different meeting, places listed to start the tour. The tickets were hard to access and buried in three different types of communications: emails, text, and WhatsApp. It said that there wasn’t available audio tour, but it was never fully explained that you had to download it before you arrived at the location. Ultimately, we would’ve been much better off buying tickets when we arrived and not paying the extra cost for Skip the line. I would suggest that you not take this tour.
Hi there, thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry for the confusion, but we’d like to clarify that this is a self-guided tour, not a guided group tour; therefore, there is no physical meeting point. As stated in the description, your official tickets and audio guides are sent via email/WhatsApp to ensure you can enter either the Palace or Gardens first at your convenience. We provide these in advance so you can download the audio before arrival, as museum Wi-Fi can be unreliable. We appreciate your comments and will work to make these digital instructions even more prominent for future guests
