Sam was wonderful!! My family had such a great time! The aprons gave us a laugh and the food was great. We learned so much about the origins of food and proper preparation. It was a wonderful evening! I would highly recommend. two types of pasta and tiramisu were filling.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed this cooking class! Our chef was awesome and the finished food for lunch turned out great!
Excellent chef and perfect accommodations. We made two different kinds of pasta and tiramisu. Instructions were clear, easy to follow and just a lot of fun. The only thing is they did not offer us any aprons at the end.
This was such a fun experience! The chef Raffa made it worth every penny! And we loved the entire thing!
Absolutely wonderful experience. It was more than just a class on how to cook pasta. It was an educational experience that taught us a lot more than we had anticipated. The chef was amazing and the staff was great as well.
Really enjoyed the class. I would definitely recommend. The food was delicious and the teacher very knowledgeable and helpful.
This was a wonderful cooking experience, learned about Florence culture, food and life along with some pasta making skills. The food was amazing. Loved the experience!!
Had an absolutely fabulous time with Raffa! He was very entertaining and informative. Gave you all the tools to be able to make delicious Italian pasta on your own. If you’re deciding between different experiences, please take this as your sign to book with them.
What an amazing experience & a must do in Florence. Rafealo our host was the absolute best! He was kind, passionate, knowledgeable & gave us so much insight about the culture & food. We not only learned how to make pasta & tiramisu but the history & love behind it. Sam was our chef & she was lovely. She was funny, engaging, & helpful. The hands on experience was absolutely memorable. Everything that was written in the description of this activity they far exceeded. We made two types of pasta (pappardelle & spinach ravioli) . The two different sauces were made by them. The tiramisu was mostly a demo by them with volunteer participation to learn some of the techniques. It was delicious & tasted better than anything I’ve ever had in the USA. We got hilarious statue of David aprons that were included in our package that we love as a souvenir from this great experience. They also served unlimited wine (red & white) & water. They served delicious bread with olive oil & prosciutto & salami in between cooking. There’s short bursts of free time for bathroom breaks, photo opts, to go outside for fresh air, or just sit & relax & have wine. The room was intimate & the perfect size (13 adults). It was fun interacting with people from around the world & the small group experience was intimate & the perfect size to be able to enjoy the experience without feeling overcrowded. If you don’t do this experience you’re missing out. This was a definite highlight of my trip. Grazie!
We had an amazing time in this class. We have two younger children (5 and 8) and the instructor both did not slow down the class so the other 10 adults could still enjoy it, but also made sure the kids understood what was happening and helped them where needed. It was the perfect balance of allowing everyone to fully partake in the class and have a good time.
