Itinerary
Palazzo Vecchio is the heart of Florence. Built in 1299 to house the leaders of the medieval city it is the symbol of the city’s history. The golden age of Palazzo Vecchio began when the Medici family decided to turn it into a real palace, making it the family residence. During your visit, you’ll be able to admire the architecture of the palazzo, and its sculptures and paintings, and learn about its rich and complex history over the centuries. Your visit to the Palazzo Vecchio will be enhanced with a choice of an audio guide available in five languages—Italian, English, Spanish, French, and German—or a multimedia guide on a 7-inch tablet that provides fascinating audio-video narration with images in high definition and spectacular 3D re-creations. Upgrade your experience to include Arnolfo's Tower, and enjoy the fantastic views from the tower's summit. Visit the tower first, then head to the museum 1 hour later.

The Medici Palace is not too big, but very meaningful. Each area gives a good sense of Renaissance life. It’s perfect if you want something cultural but relaxed. A nice stop during a busy day.
Ridicolous organsation. You need to redeem the tix from the tour op but he doesnt respond at the time of the event. We couldnt go in. Such irresponsiblilty and mal organisations. I
We did not receive any calls or messages from you during the activity time through the platform or the emergency contact provided. Unfortunately, if the meeting point or timing is missed, entry cannot be guaranteed, as tickets are time-specific. We always encourage guests to arrive early and contact us immediately via the platform chat or phone if there is any difficulty, so we can assist in real time.
My guide wasn’t there at the meeting point at the scheduled time. I had to buy more tickets in the line. There were different addresses in the instructions so I wasn’t even sure where to go, it was stressful finding the right spot. I arrived in time but they weren’t there. The ticket office wasn’t able to help me so I had to buy 2 more tickets.
Thank you for sharing your comments. We would like to clarify that our hosts are always present at the official meeting point (Lindt Chocolate Shop, Piazza del Duomo) well before the scheduled time, with the pre-reserved tickets for all participants. Unfortunately, it seems there may have been some confusion with the address details, but our staff was there as planned to welcome the group. We regret that this caused stress for your visit. We will review the meeting instructions once more to ensure they are clearer and avoid any misunderstanding in the future.
Was a little stressful trying to figure out where to redeem my ticket because the map and coordinates provided were inaccurate and led to a spot 30 minutes away from the site. But once I was inside and viewing the palace and listening to the guided tour it was what was hoping for.
Great value for the price. We walked in without waiting, and the experience was calm and enjoyable. The palace gives a real sense of the Medici family’s power and style. I’d recommend this to anyone who wants to avoid the big tourist crowds
The Medici Palace was a surprise! It’s not as famous as other places, but it’s full of charm. I loved the inner courtyard and the painted walls. The skip-the-line access worked perfectly. We felt like we discovered a hidden gem in Florence.
Perfect for a short visit to Florence. The Medici Palace is small but full of interesting things. No line at all, and the ticket process was smooth. I learned a lot about Renaissance Florence.
Easy process, you go meet a helpful host at the meeting point. From which she explains everything very clear and you go start your tour with an audio guide... Absolutely gorgeous tour and worth visiting!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're so glad the entry process was smooth and that our host made everything clear and easy for you. The Medici Palace truly is a gem, and we’re thrilled you found the tour absolutely gorgeous and worth the visit. We hope to welcome you back to explore even more of Florence’s rich history!
Despite being on time could not find guide. We were a party of 5 (including an85 year old in a wheelchair) and none of us could find the guide. Gave up after 25 minutes looking!!!
We're very sorry to hear about your recent experience and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused—especially considering you were traveling with an elderly member in a wheelchair. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been not to find your guide despite arriving on time. Please know that this is not the standard we strive to uphold. We have already processed a full refund as a gesture of goodwill, and we are also investigating this internally to ensure such situations are avoided in the future. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and again, we deeply regret the inconvenience caused.
