Great tour without going overboard in art history. Our guide was knowledgeable, well versed in art and history.
Elisabetta Carrano was so full of knowledge and detail. Definitely would recommend her. It made our visit extra special. Wish we had her for longer.
Veronica was an amazing guide! Super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the Uffizi feel way more approachable. She shared great stories behind the artworks and kept things interesting the whole time. Definitely made the experience more memorable—highly recommend touring with her!
Tour with Stephi was excellent . She is knowledgeable and made the experience apositive one. Well worth it
What an excellent morning and tour. It was just the two of us with the guide and we had an excellent experience. The best advice we would give is to book the first tour of the day, as the museum started to get very busy by late morning. After the guided tour was over, we went back through to spend more time at various masterpieces. In total we were here almost 4 hours.
I am so glad we went with this tour. The Uffizi is way too big to see everything alone and the context of what you're looking at matters. I would have had such a difficult time figuring out how to navigate most efficiently to see the highlights. Francesca did an excellent job really highlighting the most popular artworks in the gallery while also providing an informative and interesting overview of Florence. She was extremely patient and as a bonus, even was generous with taking so many photos of me and my mom. The Uffizi is such a wonderful museum and the experience felt even more special with her guidance.
OMG. Francesca was great! Took us through the crowd right to all the important pieces of art. She told detailed stories of every piece, as well as details of the Uffizi building as well. We would highly recommend this tour. The only confusion was the meet up area where we should have met in front of the Uffizi entrances and not around the corner where our Google map was taking us. We sent a message via the site and it was answered immediately. Well done.
Marina was an excellent guide. She shared her knowledge and expertise while continually ensuring we kept up and were enjoying the experience. In addition to viewing the several art periods represented in the Accademia Gallery, and the fabulous Michaelangelo sculptures, we had the added treat of visiting the musical instrument section. Thank you, Martina, for sharing with us, ensuring we had a wonderful morning visit!
Our tour guide, Victoria, was wonderful: very well informed, explained the art, history and architecture of the Uffizi clearly with many fascinating stories and facts, spoke English very well, and above all was a friendly and charming guide. Our group was restricted to my husband, myself and our daughter, which was the perfect size , allowing us to have an interactive tour with Victoria with lots of time for questions and answers. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would recommend it highly.
Beautiful city and very easy to visit, everything is very close. I recommend visiting the Uffizi Gallery, the Academy Gallery and the Medicci Palace. And if you have the opportunity, go up to the mountain where the bronze David is to see some very good views of the entire city. To sleep I recommend the Affitacamere Shaby old town hotel, very central and comfortable.
