The Uffizi Gallery in Florence, officially known as the "Galleria degli Uffizi", is one of the most important art museums in the world. Founded in 1584 by Francesco I de' Medici, it is an outstanding example of Italian Renaissance art and houses one of the most comprehensive collections of European masterpieces.

120 min

The Accademia di Belle Arti art museum in Florence is also known as the Accademia or Galleria dell’Accademia. The Accademia was the first academy for painters in Europe, founded in 1563 during the heyday of the Medici dynasty. With 7 statues, the Accademia has the largest collection of sculptures by Michelangelo in the world, including the famous statue of David. The collection of gold-ground paintings from the 13th to the early 15th century is unique, with examples of paintings by the greatest Florentine artists such as the Master of Mary Magdalene, Giotto, the Master of Santa Cecilia, Bernardo Daddi, Taddeo Gaddi, Andrea Orcagna and many others. No less rich is the field of 15th century painting, which represents late Gothic and Renaissance art. Renaissance painting is represented by works by Paolo Uccello, Sandro Botticelli, Domenico Ghirlandaio and Filippino Lippi.

60 min

With its large copper-green dome, the Great Synagogue is an imposing landmark in the cityscape of Florence. The ‘Tempio Maggiore’ was inaugurated in 1882, a few years after the emancipation of Italian Jews in 1861. It is one of the most important examples of Moorish style in Europe. The interior has a special atmosphere, with its many wall frescos, the soft light that shines through the stained glass windows and the magnificent mosaics.

60 min

The Casa Buonarroti museum is entirely dedicated to Michelangelo Buonarroti. Although the great painter, sculptor and architect never lived here, his family built the house in his memory – and decorated it with his works. At Casa Buonarroti you can admire two famous marble reliefs – masterpieces from Michelangelo’s early youth: the Madonna of the Stairs, an intense testimony to Michelangelo’s passionate study of Donatello, and the Battle of the Centaurs, an eloquent sign of his love for classical art.

120 min

The Medici Museum, housed in one of the city’s most beautiful buildings, is the place to discover the history of the world’s most famous dynasty. From Lorenzo the Magnificent to the Princess of Palatina, the memory of the Medici family is preserved here and passed on through the exhibition of valuable collections of works of art, historical relics, original documents, faithful reconstructions and multimedia installations.

60 min

The Ospedale degli Innocenti (Children’s Hospital) is an architectural masterpiece that combines functionality and beauty, elegance and symmetry: a ‘palace for children’, as the architect Giovanni Michelucci called it. It was originally built as a children’s hospital (the first of its kind in Europe). It was built from 1419 according to a design by Filippo Brunelleschi, making it one of the first Renaissance buildings ever. The museum in the premises was set up to exhibit the works of art from the old Ospedale degli Innocenti. A tour has been set up to give visitors access to a cultural heritage that is unique in the world and is closely linked to the work in favour of children who could not be raised by their families of origin.

60 min

The Museo degli Strumenti Musicali in Florence is a popular destination for music lovers and culture enthusiasts. The museum is located in the historic Palazzo degli Instrumenti and offers an extensive collection of musical instruments from different eras and regions.

120 min

Leonardo da Vinci: universal genius, myth of the Renaissance, extraordinary engineer and scientist of his time. The interactive exhibition allows you to immerse yourself in the thoughts and creative work of one of the greatest geniuses of all time. The Leonardo Interactive Museum® exhibition, which has been open since 2003, is the result of years of study and research with the aim of making the thoughts of the genius of mechanical art and the myth of the Renaissance tangible.

60 min

The Opificio delle Pietre Dure in Florence is a unique museum specialising in the art of stone carving and restoration. Founded in the 16th century, it has developed into an important centre for the conservation and restoration of historical works of art.

60 min

The museum is located in the artist's former residence and offers a comprehensive collection of props, costumes, stage sets and personal items that reflect his impressive career.

60 min

The Museo Galileo in Florence is a real gem for science enthusiasts and history lovers. In the venerable halls of Palazzo Castellani, a building with centuries of history, the museum houses one of the most important collections of scientific instruments in the world.

30 min

The Museo di San Marco is located in the Dominican monastery of San Marco in Florence. The monastery, built by Michelozzo between 1437 and 1452, is a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture and was once one of the most modern monasteries in Italy.

30 min

The church of Orsanmichele is located in the heart of Florence, between Piazza della Signoria and the cathedral. Originally built in the 13th century as a loggia for the grain market, it was built over the historic oratory of San Michele in Orto. Over the centuries, the generosity of the Florentine guilds transformed it into a magnificent church, which was decorated with outstanding sculptures and paintings between the 14th and 16th centuries.

Two day hop on hop off in Florence

Viator used a third party tour company. We never received the email instructing us to pick up our tour tickets prior to the tour starting. We missed the initial start time, and were told to go to the tour operators’ office to try to retrieve our passes. We went to the tour office to find out that there were two separate offices in Florence, and of course we were at the wrong one!! The local tour office was fantastic and accommodated us with passes to the two primary museums that we wanted to see, but we were disappointed with the communication (lack thereof) from Viator who we’d originally booked the tour with.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to share your experience with us. We apologize for the misunderstanding regarding communication about the tour and ticket pickup. We understand how frustrating this must be, especially when you take the time and effort to plan something only to encounter problems. We are glad to hear that the local team in Florence was so helpful and able to assist you. We will take your reply on board and ensure that such misunderstandings are avoided in the future, especially when it comes to communication about ticket pick-ups. We appreciate your understanding and hope that, despite the inconvenience, you were able to enjoy your time in Florence. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Just book directly with the attraction. This is a terrible pass. Should have looked at reviews beforehand.

Too complicated. You have to find the office and go pick up the tickets the morning of or day of to even get tickets. Nothing turbo about it

Top Pass – Experience Florence in a relaxed way!

We were in Florence in June as a couple with our parents and in-laws – and the City Pass was a great decision! You already have a lot of admissions, which means less stress on site and no long queues, especially at highlights such as the Duomo, Uffizi or Palazzo Pitti – especially in the heat a real plus. Important: You should really read everything that is included in the pass and how it works with the reservations beforehand. Once you understand this, everything works great – it went smoothly with us anyway. Especially in a small group and with parents it was totally pleasant not to have to constantly search for tickets. Everything was well planned and we could really enjoy the time on site. We have tried City Passes on other trips – the Florence Pass is definitely one of the best for us. Clear recommendation for those who want to experience Florence without planning stress!

Useful but not as simple as it could be..

I booked and paid in UK in advance for a 5 day pass with hoho bus... I did nt want to spend my time queuing as all the you tubers advise you to get queue jump tickets.. Blurb said it prebooks the big names, Uffizi and Accademia for you on day 1 and 2 of your card... That was OK but the tickets went into my junk holder and were for the same day... I had time so I emailed every name I d emails for and it was sorted out... You still have to take your QR code to a place nearby for the actual tickets so what time you save is nt really clear... The blurb also let's you think the hoho bus is the duration of the ticket, it isn't, every part of it is single use but the hoho bus was great too, I d say it s worth it...

Operator response

Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the Hop-on Hop-off bus. Due to the high demand for Uffizi and Accademia, ticket pick-up near the attractions in Florence is the only way to guarantee entry for our guests. We apologize for any confusion and appreciate you reaching out to resolve the issue. Your insights help us improve the experience!

Not happy

The museums and bus tours went well. However, the third party provider of the walking tour was unreliable and very rude when contacted. Ourselves and another couple were at the meeting point as directed, but the tour operator made no attempt to look for us. They were not visible in company colours as we were told. My Tours operator provided a very poor service. While Viator have been good, once you are in the hands of the third party provider, this is not the case.

Operator response

Thank you for your honest feedback. I’m really sorry to hear about the poor experience with the walking tour provider — that’s definitely not the kind of service we want you to have. It’s great to hear that the museums and bus tours went smoothly though. We appreciate you letting us know about this issue, and we’ll make sure to pass it on to improve things for future travelers. If there’s anything we can do to help or make up for the inconvenience, just let us know. Best regards Your Turbopass-Team

Florence City Pass

Florence is a beautiful city for art lovers. With the Florence City Pass I had all the attractions I wanted to visit right in my pocket. A small shortcoming that tickets for the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery must be picked up before visiting, but after reading closely, this was no problem either. Turbopass, gladly again!

Practical City Pass for Florence – with small pitfalls

We were in Florence for three days at the beginning of May 2025 and used the Turbopass. Overall, a good decision: Many of the most important museums and sights are included, and especially at the Uffizi Gallery and the Galleria dell’Accademia, the reserved admission was really worth gold – without the pass we would have queued for a long time. What we noticed positively: The processing by email went smoothly and you had everything digitally with you. The included audio guide for the city was also a nice addition. However, you should take a close look at the passport and the description in detail. Some museums have to be reserved in advance – we didn’t immediately realise that and almost led to disappointment. In addition, it should be noted that the Turbopass does not offer an unlimited “fast lane” function, but rather mediates fixed time slots. Overall, a very practical solution for a compact stay in Florence – but you have to read the conditions carefully to make the most of everything.
