10/10 experience

10/10 experience. The timed entry is strictly managed, meaning less chaos at the door and a much smoother visit inside. This ticket saved our day and saved our feet!"

One of Florence’s Must-See Moments

We came mainly to see David at Galleria dell'Accademia, and it did not disappoint. The timed entry helped avoid crowds at the entrance, and once inside, We took our time walking around. Seeing the sculpture up close is something you can’t really explain—it’s just impressive.

Having a fast track entry...

Having a fast track entry ticket is the best way to enter The Academia and see Michelangelo’s David. We enjoyed the self guided tour in the late afternoon.

Simple entry

The whole process at Galleria dell'Accademia was easy thanks to the reserved time slot.Inside, everything leads you to David, and when you see it, you understand the hype. It’s one of those moments that stays with you

Worth it just for David

I walked past a huge line and went straight in, which already felt like a win. But nothing compares to that first moment seeing Michelangelo’s David in person. The details are insane, the size, the expression, everything feels so alive. I thought it was overrated before, but I was completely wrong.

A must

The Museum is amazing albeit very crowded. We paid for “skipping the line” but still had to wait in line BUT not as long as some - only 10/15 minutes. Again the museum and art totally worth it. The meet up was easy and the gentleman was helpful.

Very chaotic but it finally worked

Lining up was very chaotic. We found the spot to meet and all 4 in my group were handed 4 different tickets with 4 different times of entry on them. We were told, “it’s fine” when asking about this and told to stand in the line. The line however, was a chaotic mess and was difficult to figure out which line to get in. It was quite ridiculous. A little more guidance would have e been helpful but the guys “working” had few words for anyone that asked. Once we figured out where to line up, the rest of it was fine and went smoothly.

Operator response

Thank you for your feedback. Please note that entry ticket times and allocation procedures are managed directly by the Vatican authorities, and it is normal for group members to occasionally receive tickets with slightly different printed times while still entering together. Due to the very high number of visitors, the entrance area can sometimes be crowded and confusing, especially during peak hours and mandatory security checks. However, our staff provided the tickets and entry assistance as advertised, and we are glad to hear that once inside, your visit went smoothly.

Operator did not show

The tour operator did not show so we had to request a refund and get in the regular line anyway after waiting 25 minutes for them to show. The Viator website was great about requesting the refund for us though.

Operator response

We already informed you in advance regarding the situation and provided the necessary update before the activity.

Stress-Free Visit to the Accademia

I didn’t have to follow anyone or rush through the rooms. I could stop, listen, and really take in each piece. The audio guide explained things in a simple, engaging way without being too long. I spent extra time around the David statue, and it was absolutely breathtaking.
