The floating market of Damnoen Saduak is one of the most charming and picturesque in Thailand. Visitors from around the world come to experience the timeless atmosphere of these waterways, where life has flowed in much the same way for over a century. During your visit, you will enjoy a relaxed walking tour, a delightful lunch, and the chance to sample a variety of delicious Thai fruits and local specialties. Treat yourself to sweet mango with sticky rice, freshly made coconut ice cream, and traditional Thai-style boat noodles, all served in a lively and colorful setting.
You will enjoy a gentle introduction to traditional coconut craftsmanship, beginning with a demonstration of how coconut flowers are carefully cut and their sweet nectar collected in bamboo containers. You’ll see how natural preserving wood is added, and how the nectar is slowly boiled and pasteurized into a refreshing drink. You will also have the chance to try squeezing fresh coconut milk from the shell using a traditional Thai “rabbit-teeth” wooden press, a simple yet fascinating technique passed down through generations.
The Railway Market is playfully known as the “life-risking” market, and it truly is an experience like no other. At Mae Klong Station, you’ll witness one of Thailand’s most fascinating scenes up close. As the train approaches and the signal sounds, the market springs into action. In a matter of moments, vendors swiftly pull back their awnings and move their goods away from the tracks, creating a clear path. Once the train passes, everything returns to normal just as quickly, with stalls reopening and the lively market continuing as if nothing happened.
At the end of your journey, you will travel back to Laem Chabang (or other) Port. The drive offers a chance to relax and reflect on the highlights of the day before rejoining your ship at Thailand’s main cruise terminal. Your tour is private and fully customizable. Pickup Locations & Times
Your pickup will be from either Klong Toei Port, Laem Chabang Port, or Sri Racha Harbor. While these are different locations, travelers often refer to them collectively as “Bangkok Port.” Your drivers will meet guests at the terminal exit and will arrive at the port approximately 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time to ensure punctuality. We gladly customize the pickup time to align beautifully with your cruise arrival.

Poppy our guide was outstanding. Worth the drive from Bangkok. Her and a private driver pick you up in comfortable SUV with cold towels and ice waters. Poppy guided us through the markets to show us where the best prices were, she initiated photo opportunities we wouldn’t have been able to get just the two of us. She helped us push through the crowds and made sure we got the best seat on the train. She even bought us some coconut ice cream as a gift in the floating market. 10/10 would recommend.

Wow! An amazing day. The rail market was very unusual and something all tourist should see. Our guide, Ice, positioned us for best seats in train and best views in market. Our second stop was the coconut farm. This experience was so far beyond my expectation. It provided a view into Thai life outside the city. The coconut trees were beautiful. The floating market was our last stop and something any visitor to Thailand should do. We had a ride on a boat through a canal to the market. We then got back on land and toured the market. Ice was so attentive and a great guide. The private car was necessary for this trip. The driver was very good. The coordination between guide and driver kept us safe and moving easily through the experience. We highly recommend this team and this experience.
