A unique experience, different from everything you can experience. The guides were very friendly and had technical knowledge about the history of the place and the people who live there. The departure took place from the historic centre of Puno, by car to the harbour. The boat ride is beautiful and there is also an optional ride with the Uros.
Muito obrigado por compartilhar sua experiência nas maravilhosas ilhas flutuantes dos uros
Our bus tour group met Percy, Richardo and Sabina along with their families. We were entertained (song and dance), we got dressed up and joined in. We learned how the islands are made (tied together), how long they last (about 20 yrs) and why they live on the isles, It's involved and you should go and learn it yourself! Warm and friendly people who are simple and happy. It took a little getting used to walking on the reeds, but it's not too difficult.
