Flight to the Nazca Lines with transfer from Ica

The Nazca Lines are a cultural heritage of humanity which you should visit during your tour of Peru. The flight over the Nazca Lines lasts approximately 30 to 35 minutes, the pilots of the plane will be the guides during the excursion. Each passenger will have their own window where you will be able to appreciate the most important Nazca lines.

Our tourist transport will start picking up passengers from some hotels in Ica or Huacachina. We will then transfer passengers to the Ica bus terminal to board the Peru Bus and travel to Nasca. Our pick-up driver will be Spanish-speaking, but he will be responsible for boarding you at the Ica/Nasca bus terminal. You will arrive at Nasca airport at approximately 10:00 am. One of our tourist transports in Nasca will pick up you at the Nasca bus terminal. To later transfer you to the Nasca Aerodrome. We recommend staying in touch via WhatsApp to let us know your arrival in Nazca for better organization. The travel time from the Nasca bus terminal to the Aerodrome is about 15 ~ 20 minutes.
We will travel by Interprovincial Bus from Ica to Nasca, the travel time is 02:30 hrs ~ 3:00 hrs. We should arrive in Nasca around 10:00 am. We recommend bringing fresh water and eating a very light breakfast to avoid dizziness during the flight.
Our transportation will transfer travelers to the Nasca Aerodrome "Maria Reiche", then we will check in and wait until the airline confirm us the flight time of the Nasca Lines. The Nazca Lines Overflight lasts approximately 30 to 35 minutes. The flight will start between 10:30am ~ 12:30pm approximately. The flight will depend on weather conditions, we will have to be a little patient. Each passenger will have their own window, the planes are small, with a capacity of approximately 06 people. The pilots of the plane will be your guides in English and Spanish.
At the end of the flight over the Nasca Lines, our passengers will be transferred from the Nasca Aerodrome to the Cruz del Sur bus terminal in the city of Nasca, which will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes. The tour ends in Nasca.

You can also come to our office called Sam Travel Experiences, located in Urb. Ciudadela Magisterial, Calle Las Palmeras O-01 III Etapa, Ica. Pick ups will be between 6:00 a.m. to 6:10 a.m. The main passenger must stay connected to WhatsApp, our tour guide will contact the passenger minutes before pick up.

- The flight schedule in Nazca can be affected due to weather conditions, some days there are delays in flights due to fog. In any case, we guarantee that the flight will take place no matter what. We just have to wait for the fog to clear.
- It is mandatory to bring a valid physical passport to the Nazca airport in order to fly over the Nazca Lines.
- Passengers weighing more than 90kg ~ 100kg must pay an extra charge in case of excess weight on the plane.
- Transportation from Ica to Nazca will be provided by the Interprovincial Peru Bus company. The tour will end at Cruz del Sur in Nazca.
- When purchasing bus tickets from Nazca to Arequipa, we recommend purchasing them after 4:00 p.m. to avoid the risk of missing buses due to bad weather.
- Children over 3 years old must pay for their own seat on the flight.
- Do not eat heavy meals before the flight to avoid dizziness.
- On holidays or public holidays, pick-ups will be at La Plaza de Armas and Huacachina.

A very nice experience, the flight over the Nasca Lines will definitely stay in our memories for a long time. The pickup, our transfer, as well as the flight itself all went very well. The bus transfer from Ica to Nasca is conducted by Peru Bus in really very old and narrow buses. That was somewhat uncomfortable.

I had a 1-day tour in Nazca: Cahuachi pyramids, Cantalloc aqueduct and, of course, the flight over the Lines. Sam organized everything perfectly, including transport from Lima. Juan Carlos was a great guide and driver and explained me a lot about this beautiful region and its history. We had a great time with their service, we book a private car with them and the travel to nazca and fly the nazca lines. They were super responsive and helpful, allowing us to stop at maria reiche museum and then we went for the nazca lines. Totally recommended it and even more going with 5 or 6 people, since the small plane was ready for us, we didn’t even have to wait. However we awarded that this flight could make you super dizzy, it is not a joke when they tell you to eat super light before going there.

The trip to the Aerodrome was perfect. Well spoken English and perfectly on time. The flight was excellent, great views on the lines and the aquaducts. Definitely a recommendation for any solo traveler, but for groups it's perfect as well

I should have read the details. I stayed in Huacachina and thought that a private tour company would take me to Nazca with a group. But an individual in a raggedy vehicle (lol) picked me up and took me to the Perúbus terminal in Ica to take a bus in Nazca. He took a picture of me, sent it to someone in Nazca and said that someone would meet me there. I arrived in Nazca (note that the bus makes multiple stops along the way) and someone did meet me and he told me that he was not a guide, but a driver would come for me soon. I waited a bit, then messaged the driver on Whatsapp ( the reviews that you read about 4 different people sending you WhatsApp messages are accurate). He picked me up and then took me to the small airport. Everything went smoothly. The airline agent even let me store my large backpack behind their counter while I went on the flight. The flight was great, and the copilot served as the guide. He was very energetic! The flight seemed a little less than 35 mins but it was worth it. Afterwards the driver told me back into the center of Nazca where I purchased a ticket to return to Ica (it was not included in the tour package).
