Tour through Seoul

At first I was a bit skeptical about booking through Viator, since I usually always book with Getyourguide, but everything worked out great. Hun is a wonderful guide; he answers questions in no time at all. We were picked up directly at the hotel at Incheon Airport and brought back there. We saw quite a bit in a short time and were able to eat and snack comfortably at the market in peace. The tour lasted 6 hours, but it flew by and was not exhausting. We are very glad to have booked it and to have made good use of the layover. We were able to pay by card everywhere. We can recommend it to everyone; it was a wonderful, fun time with a really nice and attentive guide.

Seoul Night Tour

This was an awesome tour to take especially if you don't have a full day. We love the night market and the Buddhist temple. It was so beautiful at night. We also enjoyed the Seoul Tower and had a beautiful view of the city. Moon was our guide and he was so conscientious about meeting our every need and tailoring the tour to our needs and desires. He was very polite and kind!

Great, Flexible Tour of Seoul - Learned more about Korean culture

Hun Lee was friendly, fun, flexible, knowledgeable of Korean and Pop culture and aimed the tour to our liking within the allotted time. Unfortunately, the cable car to Seoul Tower was under maintenance but it wasn’t his fault and he replaced the top view stop with a different one. I would have loved to have the opportunity to go inside a palace or temple but we didn’t prioritise them more than the traditional night market which was ok. We learned a lot about Buddhism. Every place we’ve been to were great. I already knew ahead of time the limitations doing a night vs a day tour but it was still worth it given the timing. Hun was very responsive the moment I booked the tour 1-2 months prior to plan for it according to our goals and liking. He owns a very comfortable private van with basic necessities like sanitizer, wipes, tissue for use. He can find parking anywhere near our tour location so we didn’t have to walk far. He basically knows a lot of the local business owners so we can order fast and cut the ridiculous long lines. We had fun talking about K-dramas and listening to Korean music and he gave me more K-drama options to watch that was on his top 5. No surprise, both our #1 was CLOY😂. You need to let him know what you want to see ahead of time so he can maximize your itinerary and not waste time. He speak good English so there won’t be any language barrier at all. Gansamhabnida Hun! Til next time!

Extra special tour guide on a very cold night

I would give this tour 10 stars if I could because of our guide. Ayaan is the sweetest, kindest man. He was so considerate of us as we are older. He really catered to our needs as it was very cold tonight. He made sure we didn’t have to walk a lot in the cold. The Starfield Library is an incredible space, really something to see. The Deoksugung Palace was so pretty and peaceful at night. Thank you Ayaan for making a very special night for us!!!!

From Layover to Lifetime Memory: The Perfect Night Tour of Seoul

With a 23-hour layover in Seoul, we decided to make every moment count and booking a private night tour turned out to be the best decision we could have made. From the moment we booked, Hun Lee’s communication was excellent, clear, friendly, and reassuring. When we landed, he greeted us at the airport with a warm smile and an infectious, lively personality that immediately set the tone for the night. Despite our travel fatigue, his energy and enthusiasm had us excited to explore right away. As we cruised through nighttime Seoul, Hun shared fascinating insights about Korean culture, history, and daily life, bringing the city to life in a way that felt personal and authentic rather than scripted. The night views were unforgettable, from the glowing skyline at N Tower, to the buzzing atmosphere of Gwangjang Market, where the sights, smells, and energy were incredible. Visiting Bongeunsa Temple at night was especially memorable, peaceful, atmospheric, and a beautiful contrast to the modern city around it. Of course, stopping by the Gangnam Style Statue added a fun and iconic touch to the evening. What truly stood out was how thoughtful and flexible the tour felt. Hun paced everything perfectly, made sure we were comfortable, and tailored the experience so it never felt rushed, even with our tight layover schedule. If you’re looking for a private tour in Seoul or anywhere in South Korea, I highly recommend Hun Lee. He transformed a simple layover into an unforgettable experience and gave us memories we’ll be talking about for years to come.

Great layover tour

We only had a few hours during a layover and wanted to see something in Seoul before leaving early the next morning. Hun was fabulous! He picked me and my daughter up from the airport, took input from my daughter on what she preferred to see, and considered what was still open and available when we arrived and were out of immigration at 7:40pm. We got to the city around 8:30pm and were able to squeeze in the N. Seoul Tower, a little shopping in Meyong Dong (including a stop to KPop Mecca) for my daughter whose a big fan of KPop, and then rounded out our tour with a trip to a Buddhist Temple and the South Gate of the city. Hun graciously drove us back yo Incheon for our hotel and ensured we were still able to check in after 1 a.m. It was a whirlwind tour but I really appreciated Hun’s sense of humor, enthusiasm, and knowledge! I would definitely recommend him to others who also have layovers or more time to tour.

Great guide 👍

An excellent and very funny guide! Our journey through Seoul at night was easy and comfortable, safe and interesting, although it was very cold. Bring some hot tea in December and skip the dinner at the market if you are squeamish but stop there just for the donuts)) Great guide!
