Broadway Market, located in the heart of Fells Point, is one of the first public markets in Baltimore, dating back to 1786. One of six remaining public markets left in Baltimore, the markets were once the city’s major source of food for the growing city. In the early days the market yards were equipped with stalls, barns and a weighing platform to accommodate the livestock the farmers brought into town to sell. On market days farmers came to Fell’s Point by wagon, boat, and ferry from nearby counties seeking an outlet for their products. Broadway Market, the oldest of the existing markets in Baltimore, has a long tradition of serving the residents of Fell’s Point and Baltimore.
The Robert Long House is a rowhouse in the Fell's Point neighborhood of Baltimore. The house is the oldest known surviving urban residence within the city of Baltimore, built in 1765. It was built as the home of Robert Long, a local Baltimore merchant, and today serves as the home of the Fells Point Preservation Society, who saved it from demolition in 1969 by purchasing it and restoring it.
The Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park is a Living Classrooms Foundation campus and national heritage site. It celebrates the contributions of African Americans in the development of Baltimore’s maritime industry, focusing on the saga of renowned author Frederick Douglass’ life as an enslaved child and young man, as well as on the life of Isaac Myers, a free born African American who became a national leader.

Mary Margaret was fantastic. We ended up with a very good understanding of the history of Fells Point, the restoration work done from the 80s on and wonderful food selections. We had a tour with 6 other foodies who were very interesting. Had a great time. Everyone in Fells Point knows Mary Margaret and were very pleasant to chat up.
Had a great time on the food tour. Mary Margaret not only took us to great places to eat she also gave us a lot of history of the area. It was an enjoyable experience to tour the area and eat great food.
The tour was cancelled because there weren’t enough people.
Great experience! Mary Margaret seemingly knows everything about this fascinating historic neighborhood, and lots of folks along the way! The establishments we visited were all welcoming with tasty portions of their best dishes. All great!
Our group of 13 had a fabulous time celebrating my daughter's birthday with the Fells Point Food Tour! The food and drinks at each of our four stops were delicious and plentiful. The restaurants were fantastic in design and historical significance, and the wait staff were friendly and attentive. Our tour guide, Mary Margaret, was knowledgeable and fun, accommodating our large group ages 9 to 75. Sharone in the booking office was so nice and helpful. I've been on food tours in Charleston, Savannah, and Montreal - the Fells Point Food Tour was by far the best!
A wonderful excursion, friendly atmosphere, family-friendly format, cozy restaurants and delicious food!
Such a good time . Each restaurant was ready for us before we got there and the food was good. Our guide Mary Margaret was very organized and kind. It was great to have a local guide who was so proud of her neighborhood and knowledgeable about the area.
Mary Margaret is a wonderful guide. The places we went to were great!!! Just wished a little more Maryland flair of food.

Mary Margaret is a wonderful tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the area and gave us several recommendations on where to go on the rest of our stay. Thank you, looks like we will be returning on another visit to see more of Baltimore.
