Itinerary
Part 1: The guide will meet you at São Conrado subway station, entrance A.
Part 2: The tour starts with a thrilling motorbike ride along the main street, passing by local businesses and daily life. Discover how the favela works and how residents move through its streets. This is the real favela experience.
Part 3: The top of Rocinha: Vila Laboriaux, with an amazing panoramic view of Rio’s South Zone; Rocinha Lookout: a spectacular view over the southern part of the city.
Part 4: Enter the famous Rua 1 and meet the founders of Acadêmicos da Rocinha, plus visit the home of your guide, TiagoTK; Walk down through the heart of the favela, exploring its alleys and narrow streets, meeting locals along the way; Explore more of the local shops on the main street.
Part 5: Discover Bella Vista Rooftop — an incredible spot with one of the most breathtaking views of Rio.

Our tour through the Rocinha favela was very interesting and impressive. We gained many new impressions and got an authentic insight into the lives of the local people. It was especially exciting to see how people live under the control of the gangs. Our guide Kim explained everything very clearly and excitingly. It was especially nice that we were even allowed to see her family's house, which made the tour even more personal and authentic. Communication before and during the tour was excellent. We felt safe and in good hands the entire time. Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to get to know a different, authentic side of Rio!

We did the tour with Lucas. Lucas welcomed us in the Favela. He was very organized. He explained what was gonna happen and also explained the rules of the Favela. I would definitely recommend Lucas as your tour guide. An experience i will remember forever
