Green Island is by far a natural pearl of the Caribbean Sea. It is an ecosystem protected by the government of Antigua, a paradise for those who love nature and dream beaches. After relaxing on the beach we will have the opportunity to see the turtles that emerge from the water to breathe, an indescribable emotion, it will seem to be inside a documentary, do not believe your eyes. Next we will reach natural sea pools with crystal clear water. Finally we will reach the famous beach of Emerald Cove, reachable EXCLUSIVELY BY SEA, where we will see the great starfish of the Caribbean (not guaranteed).

IMPORTANT: from Royalton CHIC and Sandals, the meeting will be ONLY by the main gate on the main road, NOT POSSIBLE by the reception/lobby. The meeting time can change, if it happens, you will receive an email through Viator/TripAdvisor. RESORT: The guide will wait for you directly at the reception of your resort or you will receive an email specifying the most accessible place possible. If you don't receive any communication from us, the appointment will be at the reception of your resort at the time on your reservation. CRUISE SHIP PASSENGER: the meeting point is in front of the shop EXOTIC ANTIGUA, one minutes walking time from the gate of the cruise ship pier.

We had a great time with Marco and the fine gentleman who navigated the boat…sorry but we can’t recall his name. Marco gave us a guided tour on the drive over and during our sea excursion. We saw sea turtles, an eagle ray, and a couple of baby sharks. Just a wonderful and expertly guided tour…it honestly exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this tour . 😊

Marco was a great tour guide! Pick up and drop off was prompt, and we spent a while on the island snorkeling and tanning. Saw turtles and my friend saw one stingray. The island itself was beautiful and peaceful since we beat the other boats. I liked our small tour group and the hospitality Marco provided! Would recommend :)
Arriving before the other boats can completely change the feeling of Green Island. Having the beach almost to yourselves, with calm waters and plenty of time to snorkel and relax, creates a very different experience from visiting later in the day. Very disappointed in this excursion as we were shown turtles for less than 5 minutes and left to our own for the rest of the excursion.

The stop you are referring to takes place in a bay where we switch off the engine to observe sea turtles as they surface to breathe. This part usually lasts between 5 and 10 minutes and is intended as an introduction to the experience before arriving at Green Island. Once at Green Island, guests can enjoy the island in a particularly peaceful and uncrowded setting, as we arrive approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes before the large catamarans. During this time, a guided snorkeling session is offered, during which guests may observe sea turtles and other marine life in their natural habitat. On the day of your tour, the participants who joined the guided snorkeling activity had the opportunity to see both sea turtles and a southern stingray. Our Green Island excursions are always operated in small groups, with a maximum of 7 participants, to ensure a more personal experience and direct interaction with the guide. The excursion also included time at Green Island, a visit to the natural pools with floating hammocks and swimming opportunities, as well as a stop at a second beach on the island, all as described in the itinerary. Our goal is never to leave guests on their own, but rather to offer a balance between guided activities and free time, allowing everyone to relax, snorkel, swim, or simply enjoy the beach at their own pace. As demonstrated by the many reviews published by our guests, most visitors particularly appreciate the small-group atmosphere, the guided snorkeling, the constant presence of the guide, and the opportunity to experience Green Island in peace before the crowds arrive.
