Upon arrival, we are going to explore the grounds of the House of the Virgin Mary, believed to be the final resting place of Mary, the mother of Jesus. We are gonna visit the small chapel on the site, where you can offer prayers or reflect in the peaceful surroundings. Then take time to explore the interior of the house, which has been restored and contains a small altar and various religious artifacts. This tour was seamless and we were well taken care of by our amazing guide Orcun. Orcun and our driver Aladdin picked us up from our hotel on time and immediately welcomed us to Turkey and to the amazing tour that was in front of us. The van was comfortable and air-conditioned. Orcun explained immediately what our day would look like and was informative throughout the day as he toured us through the amazing sites.... Ephesus, Artemis, and Virgin Mary's house. We stopped at a nice location for lunch and it was delicious. At that stop Orcun took us through a Turkish carpet school/shop. We were educated on different types of Turkish rugs and how they were made... It was very interesting also to learn about the silk. We would highly recommend this tour and we would highly recommend Orcun as the tour guide and Aladdin as the driver... Thanks for an amazing day!!
