It was fun to learn about gelato and make 4 different kinds to try. It was a small group just 4 of us so it was nice. The chef was very knowledgeable.
You should go. It was amazing and everything was explained so thoroughly so you understand why the process works and what is key to making gelato
Chef Morina was wonderful!! We learned so much about gelato and made multiple kinds. can’t recommend enough!

It was great to learn the tips and tricks about making ice cream. It was a pity that you can’t do much activity yourself.

This was a fantastic experience and one of our favorite memories in Italy. Monia was so kind and funny, the workspace was pleasant, spotless, and professionally set up, and the gelato treats we made were delicious! We learned much more than we expected about the interaction of the ingredients and what was important to get the best results. Thank you to Monia for a wonderful time.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled this was one of your favorite memories in Italy! :)
The instructor provided clear instructions and explanations. She was very helpful in giving advice on how to prepare ice cream for diabetics.

A terrific experience. Francesca was delightful. We made chocolate gelato, yogurt ice cream, pastry cream gelato and pear sorbet. Topped with an array of flavors.
It was a pleasant few hours, buy not really a participating one. Someone poured in a pre-measured cup of sugar, another stirred a cup. The instructor was nice but had some trouble with English. I did not know how to make gelato at the end of the course.there was not a physical Handout but just something to scan.
Thank you for your feedback. We truly appreciate your suggestions and take every concern to heart as we strive to improve.
If you love gelato this is for you. We had a group of four people so it was easy to hear and understand the steps of the recipes. Each of us had the chance to make three different types of gelato. The recipes were easy to understand, used simple and easy to find ingredients, and the instructor was very knowledgeable. Plus you get to eat the lesson at the end. On the day we were there, we made pistachio, pear sorbetto (sorbet), and fiore di latte (Italian vanilla) with our choice of mix ins. I recommend the amarena cherries and balsamic vinegar. Though there is no wrong answer with the mix ins. The ingredients will change based on the season as the instructor picks up whatever is freshest. The location is a little difficult to find as it is inside a small mall. The door is hidden away in the corner. You can see the kitchen clearly through the windows from the corner of the mall from the outside. The outside is near a small piazza with some trees and benches. If you arrive too early (we did) you can people watch from the benches. All in all it was a truly delightful experience.
The gelato class in Bologna was such a treat. It was really was fun and engaging, thank you Monia!! 🙏
