Our guide Olga was a delight. Her passion for this tour was clear to see and she brought Varosha back to life with her knowledge. Not to much walking. And just the right length of time spent in each of the locations. This tour gave us an insight into to how the island was split and what it has been like for both sides since then along with what it was like centuries ago. A little bit of culture delivered in just the right way. Thank you Olga for a lovely day.
Visiting these places is certainly fascinating, but thanks to Olga it becomes a real experience. It makes you experience the emotions of the transformation of the pre- and post-Turkish invasion area, involves you, pushes you to document yourself. Definitely the natural heritage is the protagonist, but Olga's culture and transportation are the exciting part of the activity
Olga was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. Everything ran v smoothly and to time. Would definitely recommend
A good day for us to spend there great place
The tour included a nice selection of locations, with Famagusta the highlight. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful re when facilities would be available.
Famagusta and Salamis are worth seeing. In the evening back in Ayja Napa, however, we noticed that we had lost my driving license. In fact, we have not been able to locate a Turkish body/office/museum office tourist office with mailing address that we could have written to inquire if anyone found and handed in this driver's license. Is that really possible? In this day and age, as EVERYONE owns a mobile phone, practically everyone is digitally accessible!!?? So we were only left, in the Greek. Police station in Ajia Napa to report the loss. Too bad!
we really enjoyed this excursion. Our guide was Olga, who was friendly and so knowledgeable. There was enough time at each location. I absolutely recommend this trip.
The day was made by our superb guide, Olga. She gave us loads of fascinating information about the history of Cyprus and the several archaeological sites that we visited. Despite getting soaked to the skin, we rated is as one of our best day tours. It was also very good value for money.
Olga was very good as a tour guide and told everything important about the individual stops in a compact brevity and was able to answer extra questions competently. We would have liked to have spent more time in Varosha than in Farmagusta as there would have been much more to see there than in Farmagusta. But that's a matter of taste. The bus driver drove very safely and was very friendly. Very good value for money!
Good organising, the guide was great, sights where interesting to see. we where realy safe, everybody where important
