Fátima Half Day Private Tour Lisbon w/ Optional Candle Procession

Friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. On time which means alot. Tried to find priest to bless our rosary but none at premises.

We had a great driver taking us from Lisbon hotel to Fatima. However, he was not a tour guide. We were dropped off and wandered around the sanctuary by ourselves with no guide. Being Catholic, I was really looking forward to learning more during this experience but was very disappointed. The sanctuary was beautiful, wish I was able to learn more about what exactly we were looking at. Very nice driver, but just a driver not a guide. Would not recommend if you want a tour and want to learn about Fátima.

This is not a tour - it’s a ride to Fatima. Our driver was very nice as was the car but we were just dropped off.

We had a fantastic experience with our driver Freitas. He was punctual, polite, and drove very safely. He knew the best routes, shared helpful local tips, and made us feel very comfortable throughout the ride. Highly recommend him for anyone needing a reliable and friendly ride to Fatima.

Depending on your driver, this will either be a guided tour or basically an Uber like ride to Fatima. Unfortunately, ours was the latter… On the plus side, our driver was on time, got us to Fatima in time to explore the Sanctuary and participate in the Candle Procession and was willing to drop us off near our AirBnB versus the original meeting location. So, thank you for that. On the minus side, he didn’t speak much English so he wasn’t really a Tour Guide and I am not sure if he even knew about the procession and how long it would take. The van was on the older side with no A/C vents in middle or back row. Overall, we enjoyed the experience at Fatima, but this was a very misleading description for what you are paying for.

Perfect tour and wonderful guide. This private tour was just excellent. John , our guide and driver, made the day very special. His knowledge of Fátima was extensive and personal which made our time with him a pleasure. Highly recommend this tour and John.

This tour was very disappointing. Our guide had limited English skills, lacked basic historical knowledge (he didn’t even know the year of the apparition), and was largely disengaged—telling us to explore on our own and meet him later in the parking lot. To make matters worse, it was a national holiday, so most attractions were closed, despite the itinerary stating they were included. We were not informed about the holiday in advance, which was incredibly frustrating. On a positive note, our guide, Paulo Beira, was a safe and competent driver.

Driver showed up 1 1/2 hours late after I called 3 times, each time being told he was 15-20 minutes away. I was calling to cancel when he finally showed but wish I had canceled. Driver was nice enough but not a tour guide, he said they called him on his day off to fill in last minute. He dropped us off, we walked around for 2 hours then met back up with him. He then had to stop and get gas (he had 2 hours to do that) then proceeded to drive very fast and dangerously back to Lisbon. My son finally spoke up and told him to slow down because we were all getting nervous. I requested a partial refund but the company refused. I feel like the 1 1/2 hour wait alone warrants some sort of refund! We did 4 other guided tours while in Lisbon and they were all great except this one. Do not book with this company!

Our tour guide was a very nice person, but he did not have any knowledge about the Fatima tour. I think he was a replacement for a regular Fatima guide. We were fortunate that there was another private tour and we just tagged along. This was a private tour and I feel we did not get the value for our money.

Had a wonderful tour with Gustavo. He was extremely knowledgeable and enjoyable to travel with. Would definitely recommend this tour.
