Itinerary
In front of you will open the great Constitution Square, one of the largest public spaces in the world. Here, where the Mexica drums once resounded, today the most iconic flag of the country flies. Close your eyes and listen to the echo of a city that was born among temples and pyramids. We will imagine the ancestral ceremonies and military parades that took place on the site.
In front of this majestic temple built over two centuries, you will feel the textures of the volcanic stone that support it. You will hear a fragment of the monumental organ as we tell you how this Cathedral is the living fusion of cultures, styles and beliefs.
On the side, a seemingly discreet space hides one of Mexico's most powerful treasures: the Templo Mayor. You will discover how an accidental discovery revealed the goddess Coyolxauhqui. We'll walk up from another city.
We will look into a window that holds anecdotes of daily life and an important event that continues to have a main place in history.
You will walk through ancient banquets where military parades and national celebrations have been held. When you arrive at the National Museum of Art, you will see a majestic architecture that will tell you about the Porfiriato and the beginning of modern Mexico. We will tell you about painters and the role of art in national identity.
Here you will receive the famous “Caballito” by Carlos IV, a bronze masterpiece that has withstood the passage of centuries and controversy. With fans and aromas from the Viceroyal era, we will recreate the life of the Creole elite who walked through this square more than 200 years ago.
You'll peek into one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. Marble, wrought iron and golden details will surround you as we imagine the love messages, travel postcards and letters sent more than a century ago.
You will see the blue and white facade of this legendary building, covered with tiles, shine. Listening to the stories of the families who lived in it, you will feel that time stands still. We'll play a tile show and learn where this piece of art comes from.
In front of the Palace of Fine Arts, we will admire its art nouveau and art deco architecture. We will tell you why it is sinking and why it is one of the most beautiful theaters in the world. We will finish our tour under the trees of Alameda Central, the first park in America. We will give you recommendations to continue exploring the city.

Danny was an outstanding guide. She explained history in an engaging manner and also told us lots about life in Mexico city. She was extremely attentive to our interests and questions. We have taken many guided tours and Danny was one of our all time favorite guides.

We were delighted with the tour we did with Tiapani. From the beginning everything was very clear, well organized and with excellent care. The team always kept an eye on us, answering questions and making sure we had the best possible experience. Without a doubt you can see the professionalism and quality of service. I would book with them without thinking! Super recommended 🙌

Dani the guide super cute, I recommend it Excellent service
I loved knowing Xochimilco and more with your support Tiapani, thank you for your attentions.
Daniela was an excellent guide. I highly recommend her. We were able to see the major highlights in 2 hours. She also gave us advice on other destinations that we did not see but is in our schedule to do for the week. She was very knowledgeable about the city. I was able to have more knowledge about the important places so that I can visit them later in my vacation at my leisure.
We did a private tour with Daniela (tiapani tours). We did the pyramids tour with her as well as day tour to Puebla and Cholula. We had an amazing experience, we had teenagers and kids with us and Daniela made sure to keep them engaged throughout the tour. She is very knowledgeable about the history and passionate about sharing it. We also did the anthropology museum with her. Would highly recommend her
We had an amazing experience exploring Mexico City and surroundings with Daniela! From the very beginning, they were professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about history, culture, and food. Every stop felt thoughtfully planned, and we learned so much—from ancient Aztec history to modern-day Mexico City life. What really stood out was how engaging and flexible the tour was. They tailored the experience to our interests, answered all our questions, and shared great local tips we never would have found on our own. It felt more like exploring the city with a knowledgeable local friend than being on a tour. If you’re visiting Mexico City and want an authentic, fun, and insightful experience, I highly recommend Tiapani and Daniela. It truly made our trip unforgettable!
