Statue of David Replica: A replica of Michelangelo's famous statue of David stands in the Piazza della Signoria, near the entrance of the Palazzo Vecchio. The original statue was moved to the Accademia Gallery to protect it from damage. Fountain of Neptune: Situated at the southern end of the square, this fountain features a large marble statue of Neptune surrounded by various sea creatures and mythological figures.
This medieval fortress-palace is the focal point of the square. It has served as the seat of Florentine government for centuries and now functions as the town hall. The palace is adorned with impressive Renaissance artwork and sculptures, including works by Michelangelo and Donatello.

If we could give our guide, Aldo, 10/5 we would. He was kind, considerate and super knowledgeable. The walk through Florence was amazing as were the Medici Chapels. This was our best tour in Florence by far. Highly recommended.
We booked a small group tour and it ended up just being my husband and me which was a nice surprise. Guisy was a wonderful guide and we enjoyed our morning with her. We learned so much about Florence’s history during The Renaissance and the role of the Medici Family.
