This was everything we hoped it would be! When planning a trip to celebrate my daughter’s graduation, her requests were to go somewhere with beautiful beaches and to be able to see monkeys. Our very professional, very patient and very informative guide, Nick, made that possible! The weather was overcast and actually rainy during our tour. Since he asked us upon pick up, what were we most looking forward to, he tailored the tour so that we would catch the monkeys during a break in the rain. He was so knowledgeable about the island and shared personal insight that really helped us learn about the resilience, charm and hospitality that fills the people of Grenada. We enjoyed the chocolate museum, the spice market, the sights into and around St. George’s, the rain forest preserve- especially the monkeys- lots of friendly, funny Mona monkeys- the crater lake (koi and other fish there), and the gorgeous waterfall where we grabbed a bite of lunch with the most gorgeous view imaginable. While the streets are narrow, winding and steep at some points, Nick executed our travel with great care and ease. This trip was well worth the money. Very professional, very accommodating and very informative!
Superb. Joseph was absolutely brilliant. We learnt so much about the history of Grenada and life in Grenada today We would thoroughly recommend this tour. Even on a wet, windy day its was great.
5/5 experience, Nick made it amazing (tour guide), very knowledgeable and fun, house of chocolate was a great experience and learnt so much about cocoa, he knew where to go to meet the Mona monkeys (got to have a monkey on my shoulder for pictures). Learnt a lot about the island and its history within this half day tour, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
We just finished our Grenada Half Day Private Tour with Mr. Joseph and he was exceptional! He was a joy to speak with as he provided substantial information about Grenada's history throughout the tour. He was kind in ensuring we captured some special moments along the way with pictures and videos that we look forward to sharing with our loved ones. I highly recommend taking some time away from your resort and hotel to experience these small parts of Grenada on this guided tour during your stay. I will absolutely recommend others to take this tour if they visit Grenada.
We booked the day before and selected an 8.30am pick-up from our hotel. Nick our guide for the day picked us up on time and greeted us with a friendly smile. He then took us to his vehicle, which was new, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Once inside, Nick laid out his plans for the tour, which would last between 4-6 hours, which was pretty much dependant on how long we wanted to stay at each of the planned stops. Nick proved to be an excellent tour guide, making our day a very enjoyable and informative one. Nick, having been born on the island was extremely knowledgeable and is clearly very proud about his island and his enthusiasm shines through. This was our first trip to Grenada and this tour was an excellent introduction to the Spice Island. The stops we made provided us with a varied look at the island's culture, history, its main sources of industry and it's fauna and flora, and all was explained by Nick in a way that was informative and very enjoyable. Nick even squeezed in an unscheduled visit at the end of the tour to a local craft brewery, where we had a taste of some of the excellent locally produced beers. ( I had a lovely IPA, but be warned, the one I had was the lowest strength IPA on offer at a mere 6.8% abv!!) This final stop indicates how accommodating Nick was, it wasn't part of the planned itinerary but after asking a question about what beers were produced locally on the island, Nick provided us with the answers and took it that one step further, giving us the opportunity to sample some, which we thought was a great touch. In summary, an excellent choice of tour if you want to acquaint yourself with what Grenada has to offer and if you're lucky, you'll get Nick as your guide!
My wife and I had an incredible half-day tour in Grenada with Nick, and we can’t recommend him enough. We were staying at Sandals Resort, and this excursion was the perfect way to get off the property and truly experience the island. From the moment we met Nick, he was friendly, laid-back, and easy to talk to, which made the entire trip feel relaxed and personalized. His knowledge of Grenada was outstanding, and he shared great insights about the island’s history, culture, and daily life. He took us to some amazing spots, including the Chocolate Museum, Annandale Waterfall, and Grand Etang Lake. We also appreciated the stops at locally owned shops, where we were able to find authentic souvenirs and support small businesses. Nick’s easygoing personality made the experience feel more like exploring with a friend than being on a tour.
This tour was above 5 stars!! We had the BEST tour guide, DeShaun! If you use Ace Ventura be sure to request him! You will not be disappointed. We had so much with him and learned so much about the island. We felt that DeShaun made our tour customized to us!! Also, you MUST try the rum punch at Annandale Falls, recommended by DeShaun! Then final stop at Mark’s sports bar. Book it now!!
Perfect activity to dip in to many interesting aspects of Grenada (beaches, agriculture, commerce, and nature) with a 6-hour commitment. Our driver and guide, Nick, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He even incorporated two special-request stops. Excellent experience. Highly recommend!
We had a great time with Joseph who showed us everything we wanted to see, and more! We stopped in bustling downtown St. George's, drove past scenic Carenage, then onto Annandale waterall, and finally to Grand Etang to see the Mona monkeys. Just the right amount of narration from Joseph who provided plenty of great historical and cultural information. Love that you can see as much, or as little as you want on the tour.
Ace is so reliable and easy to communicate with. He goes above and beyond to ensure you have the best possible experience. His vehicles are so comfortable, safe, and always clean. Our tour guide Deshon was amazing. He provided us with so much island history and also went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend- best island tour I have had.
