Here guests will have an opportunity to see the remains replica of "Dinknesh" a.k.a. Lucy, one of the oldest early human remains from 3.2 million years ago. Ardi, a 4.4 million year old Ardipithecus ramidus replica is also on display at the National Museum of Ethiopia.
Immerse yourself in one of the best and biggest open air markets in Africa. Here you explore the vegetable market, traditional spices, handicrafts, recycled parts market and everything in between. *Please note Sunday city tours do not go to Mercato as it is closed.
The first and oldest hotel is where we stop for a vegan buffet lunch and traditional coffee ceremony.
Holy Trinity Cathedral is known for its historical importance, ornate features and for being the final resting place of Haile Selassie as well as numerous Imperial family members.
Here we learn about the diverse cultures, tribes and history of Ethiopia. We explore many historical relics, traditional and nomadic lifestyles as well as the living quarters of Emperor Haile Selassie and Empress Menen Asfaw.
Located just above the capital city of Addis Ababa, Entoto Hill offers sweeping views of the whole city. We enjoy a peaceful sunset here before heading down to the city to end our city tour.
