I had the opportunity to visit the Makoko Floating Slum with the guidance of Confidence and Victor. Through the tour, I was able to experience the unique culture of Makoko firsthand and gain a deeper understanding of its history and way of life. If you're interested in visiting Makoko, I highly recommend checking out U Come Afrik. It was an eye-opening and memorable experience.
Full confidence in Confidence and his wonderful team. Excellent communication, great response time, and a staff of local guides that make you feel like a friend. 100% recommend and I will for sure be returning and exploring more with Ucomeafrik.
Thanks for the lovely words. It was nice travelling with you. I wish you do come back some day. cheers
I visited Makoko in February, the experience was really outstanding. You can have a really Deep Insight into the place and meet the local people.
Thank you for the review. It was good having you on a trip with us.
Guys the prices you are charging are inflated for instance to enter in lekki conservation center only cost 3000 naira, Makoko 15000 naira per adult and is a very hard place to see so please stop charging the earth not nice
I will thank you for the review but the fact is that I can not remember doing a trip with you and non of my team members have ever done a trip with you. If paradventure you thought that any of my team members did a trip with you without me knowing and you can prove it that he collected money for lekki conservation and makoko which is more than what is required, I am more than willing to give you a refund of that money for lekki conservation and makoko. For your information on every trip done, we allow the clients to pay their own entrance fees by themselves and if paradventure we have to pay it, I/we personally go with the traveler to the office to make the payment and which is 2000 Naira and not 3000 as you quoted. For makoko, we do not take money also from you directly, when we get to makoko, I and my team always allow travelers pay directly to the guys at makoko. Their fees covers for boat ride, entrance fee, settlements for the chief, camera and the area boys. On the the fees quoted on tripadvisor, it covers our guide fees, car hire, fuel and other charges we incure which can't be disclosed unless you want us to move without car and no fuel. What we do are private tours. If you want a solo/walking group tour, then you could let's know. But we never met you before. I personally go on almost all the trips by myself and can't remember meeting you. And if anyone of my team members (Evans, Kingsley, Chuks, Alex,Jean) have done a trip with you and took money from you and you can prove to me that he collected money directly from you which is more than what is required for makoko and also for conservation center, I am more than willing to give you a refund. We hold honesty in high esteem and we believe that our reputation matters so much hence abhores every form of dishonesty. If what you have written this as a means to score a point please kindly also review it. Thank you.
