We had a great time using the explorer day pass! Highlights were zip lining and the waterslide. We also loved the thermal hot springs which we visited after all of the activities and was a great way to relax. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We were also very pleased with how uncrowded it was. This was a great, fun day for our family of 4.
Beautiful place, family firendly, activities were gorgeous, healthy horses, nice zip lining and amazing views of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. Caramelo the Oxen at the cultural activity, all the pasties, the coffee were just a perfect combination of a genuine cultural tico taste. Kindly and very attentive staff, new hot springs are amazing with its high jumping rock, it´s just unbelievable. We loved it!
This was an amazing day of adventure. There were 19 of us from ages 7-67 and we all had a wonderful day.
The bus and tour guide was great. Adam was very accommodating and attentive. It was great if you love adventure!! At the end relaxtion much needed and beautiful.
Our visit to the Rincon thermals in Costa Rica was a wonderful experience overall. The thermals were beautiful, relaxing, and surrounded by lush tropical scenery that made for a truly memorable day. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was peaceful, making it a great place to unwind after exploring the country. The only area where I believe there is room for improvement is accessibility. While the grounds are stunning, navigating the property can be challenging for elderly guests or those with mobility limitations. Distances to the thermal pathways, stairs, and limited assistance made it difficult for members of our group to fully enjoy all the amenities. Adding golf cart or accessible transportation assistance or options would make this incredible destination more welcoming for everyone. Despite this, we had a fantastic experience and would recommend this adventure to anyone visiting Costa Rica—especially those who are looking for value . With a few accessibility enhancements, it could truly be an exceptional experience for guests of all ages and abilities.

What a relaxing day! We went to the thermal baths and mud area. There's a swim up bar in thermals down the hill along with an area where you can apply volcanic mud to your body and wash it off under a waterfall in the river. Up the hill there's a lounge area with several different thermal pools to enjoy. The buffet lunch was delicious and fresh and there was a bar at the entrance to the dining area. We had access to the cultural tour and horseback riding but a strong rain came through and we didn't get a chance to do them (that's the risk you take when you come to Costa Rica during the rainy season). Overall, Rincon was an amazing experience. Definitely plan a full day. There's plenty to do but also, take your time and relax!
