The Faculty of Law building is inspired by the purest Doric style, with no other decoration than that provided by its own monumental structure. It occupies an area of 40,000 m2 that is distributed on the ground floor, main floor and two upper floors, and has a museum, an art gallery, and a specialized library. Inside, in the assembly hall, a large oil painting by the artist Antonio González Moreno stands out, describing the inauguration ceremony of the University of Buenos Aires.

The Floralis Generica is a metal sculpture located in the Plaza de las Naciones Unidas, Avenida Figueroa Alcorta, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, a gift to that city by the Argentine architect Eduardo Catalano. This imposing 20-meter-high sculpture dominates the United Nations Square and opens and closes depending on the sunlight it receives. This is the first moving sculpture controlled by a hydraulic system and photoelectric cells. The monumental thing is that this dynamic is carried out in a stainless steel work 20 meters high and weighing 18 tons.

The Recoleta Cemetery is located in the exclusive Recoleta neighborhood, which owes its name to the fact that the convent of the Recollect monks was located there. It is the most visited in the city, due to its numerous and impressive mausoleums and vaults, belonging to many of the main protagonists of Argentine history, such as that of Eva Perón (Evita), along with former presidents Raúl Alfonsin and Domingo Faustino Sarmiento. Also, we have the story of Liliana Crociati, represented by the statue of a girl standing with a dog: To pay tribute to her daughter and her art, in the midst of the pain that invaded them, Liliana's parents asked the renowned sculptor Wifredo Viladrich to design a neo-Gothic tomb with a bronze sculpture. In addition, they wanted her to have some details: that she wears a wedding dress, has an engagement ring on her finger and is accompanied by a replica of her dog, Sabú

Worst tour ever

Worst tour I have ever been on, guide didn’t know anything about the area nor showed us anything. Most entertaining bit was when the guide started translating what a near by Spanish guide was saying. The company also refused to provide a refund …..

Worth it

This was an amazing tour, with an incredible tour guide Laura. We learned so much about the area and its rich history, while immersing ourselves in the local culture. The cemetery was the crown jewel for sure. Take this tour, ask for Laura, you won’t regret it.

Through the heart of Argentinian history and back.

We got to go with Seba to Recoleta and it was awe inspiring, both the beauty of the neighborhood and the grittiness of some of it's history were just great to get to know. We would've never found out a lot about the argentinian ways, it's history and why it looks so european. Overall a wonderful guide and a great experience. The cemetery is just golden for taking pics!
