Exhilarating Desert Safari, Including BBQ Dinner from Dubai
Description
Guests can hit the dunes for a day, courtesy of this Desert Safari Tour. Customers will be picked up between 3pm and 4pm from Hotel or Residence. Once in the desert, guests will embark on a series of activities including dune bashing and sand boarding as well as camel riding and henna tattoo painting. Refreshments and snacks will be included, while a barbecue dinner caters towards meat eaters and vegetarians alike. In the evening, photo opportunities are available with guests in traditional Arabic costumes such as Abaya and Kandura, before a trio of dance shows take place. Tanoura, belly dance and fire show will cap off the day before clients are dropped back off to Hotel or Residence sometime between 9pm and 9.30pm.

Dubai Desert Safari is a must do tour in Dubai. In this safari you will experience thrilling drive in the Arabian Desert’s sand dunes, and enjoy a great BBQ Dinner over a live Belly dance in a desert camp just outside the modern city of Dubai. Experience the thrills of the dunes and witness spectacular views of the sunset during our Desert Safari Tour. Upon reaching the camp in the desert, a traditional Arabian welcome awaits you. Enjoy the true Arabian ambiance at this typical good quality Bedouin campsite, with traditional Arabian carpets, low tables and cushions for comfortable seating and relaxation. experience the camel ride, enjoy aromatic shisha (hubbly-bubbly), sand boarding or have a henna painting done. At evening in the camp a BBQ dinner will be served along with soft drinks. A traditional belly dance show followed by the tanoura and fire show will be present in the camp.

Great experience with a great host. It was a well organized tour and unforgettable experience. The car was clean and the driver was knowledgeable and very experienced.
Great flexibility offered (e.g., was able to book it 30 mins before departure time VS in US you need to do at least few hours ago) However overall experience at site was pretty average. The BBQ dinner is very much rationed at 3 BBQ per person, same thing with starters. And expect everything at extra charge - fried corn, seating at decent spot - and exorbitant charge really. A beer costed 50 Aed, that’s pricier than US. I anticipate other tours are same. I rated 3 vs 4 as I had done dune bashing and others before, and the experience wasn’t great even when we exclude all the extra charges above. The camel ride is literally 10 meters or camel walk and that’s it. Dune bashing happens for 15-20 mins Rest all time is sitting at a place for shows and eating, and except the very basic, everything comes for an extra charge
Had a great time at the safari. Zafar was our driver and we opted for a private car. It was a brilliant day. Zafar was excellent from start to finish and a great personality.
We enjoyed the tour, with the great guide Zafar. Amazing dunebashing in the desert in Sharjah, and entertainment in the desert in Dubai. The cameldriving, dune surfing and the shows were good enough, and the bbq was good with nice local specialties. When the car was stuck in the desert, Zafar solved it quickly. We had a great time and would highly recommand this tour.
Said was very kind despite my tardiness, he was always helpful and made us feel safe. The food at the camp site was way too much, but I’m happy if the remaining untouched food goes to the community. Thanks for the experience!

Our driver Arif was fantastic so fun, felt so safe but thrilling as we drove through the desert! Falcon experience was magic. And t Did the camel walk too just after sunset. Be aware of scarf and dress up payments, they're not compulsory so say no if you don't want, but I liked the scarf and having it a souvenir for future ! Fire dancers and shows too.
