The excursion to the Kuriat Islands on Lake Maggiore Yacht is an essential activity in Monastir, combining discovery, relaxation and nature. The programme includes a visit to a sea bream aquaculture farm, offering an overview of this innovative project, as well as dolphin watching in their natural habitat. Participants enjoy a swim in the turquoise waters surrounding the island and a moment of relaxation on its unspoilt beach. A presentation of local biodiversity is provided by the association Notre Grand Bleu, committed to the protection of marine turtles and island ecosystems. A traditional Tunisian lunch is served on the island. A guided walk to the archaeological sites also allows you to discover its rich historical heritage. For optimal comfort, the Yacht Lake Maggiore is a luxury air-conditioned boat, equipped with all the necessary amenities.

Me and my family booked the Kuriat Island Trip direct with the company. A taxi picked us up from our hotel and dropped us at the marina. The boat took around an hour to get to the island. We stopped on the way to see dolphins swimming in the water. On the island we were given a sheltered table for us to leave out belongings whilst we swam in the Sea and played in the sand. I'd recommend taking goggles or snorkeling equipment as you are able to see small fish and find hermit crabs. For lunch we were served a platter of rice, chopped salad, grilled fish, grilled chicken, chorizo and bread. Bottles of water were included and other drinks were available to purchase at an extra cost. There was a small hut on the island with information about the Sea Turtles and we were able to see the turtle nests outside. Unfortunately we didn't see any turtles on our visit. After lunch there was more time for swimming before we boarded the boat. Then we were able to jump off the boat and swim in the deeper water. Life jackets were provided for those who wanted them. Water was also available on the boat and ice creams could also be purchased.
Absolutely fantastic, we are delighted with this excursion, a top-notch team, a great atmosphere, we had a wonderful time throughout the day.
On the island, there is nothing to see or do. Beach full of seaweed and a foul smell. The lunch was not bad. The boat ride was nice. We were able to spot some dolphins. But there were no comments from the staff. I do not recommend this outing.

Me and my family had an amazing time on this trip. Planning and execution of the trip was flawless and operator was so helpful they gave us all the information we needed before the trip, everything was supplied for us ie water, food and melon was all included as described, transfer from and to hotel was flawless. Guide took us to the yatch and collected at end of the trip. I would highly recommend this trip and this company nothing was too much. Overall we had a experience that we all enjoyed and appreciated, totally worth going on. We would go on this trip again on our next time in tunisia. Highly recommend

Really great, I recommend and I will renew the experience. Simple reservation and the provider was responsive to my messages. Magnificent yacht, very clean including the restrooms 😍 Very welcoming staff, professional and attentive to the clients. Delicious and generous meal. Wonderful day out. Picked up exactly on time from our hotel. Arrived at the harbour. Our guide was great helped us find a cash machine. The boat was lovely and relaxing and the staff on board were so welcoming. The island itself is lovely were were seated in the shade. Beautiful clear waters. The edge of the island is protected by seaweed. There were lovely hammocks too if you wanted to use them..we saw where the turtles meets were ,watched the eggs being buried by the nature reserve and even got to see a sea turtle being released back into the sea. Then we ate a lovely well prepared plate of food with bbq chicken, fiah rice , salad and bread Once back on the boat we stopped of for a swim ,where you could jump off if you wanted to. Drinks amd cornettos on board. Then we sailed to a fishing area in the sea and had the pleasure of seeing dolphins, all around the boat, then past a beautiful little island with caves where we seen the local children jumping off to show us they could cheering " welcome to tunisia" and all past the beautiful marina before docking. Our guide was great with us and full of information. Although some of another group wernt happy about the seaweed. Its is an inhabited island and a nature reserve for turtles. This is natural. We had n overall great day and would highly recommemd the experience. .
