Description
Departure from Agadir to Taroudant nicknamed the little Marrakech seen in the likeness of the two cities especially the ramparts and souks very animated. A stop at halfway down the road to capture the beauty of the argan trees and the goats that climb them. Arrive in Taroudant, the old red city, surrounded by more than 7 km of ramparts that surround its medina. A free time to explore the medina and the souks where are spread lots of products: carpets, jewelry, leather bags, decorative objects and other craft works. Around noon, head towards the village of Tiout 19km from Taroudant, a superb oasis of palm trees, where you can discover the traditional life of the Berber inhabitants and their hospitalization and will surely welcome you with a mint tea. Lunch typical homestay, then you will enjoy a walk to the palm grove on foot (or donkey optional) before returning to Agadir

Day trip 81 km from Agadir, to explore the traditional Moroccan lifestyle in the beautiful fortified city of Taroudant named "the little Marrakech". Visit its souk and medina, then head to the oasis of Tiout for lunch at the locals or in a typical restaurant. You will be able to visit the immense natural oasis which covers more than 1000 hectares with more than 20 000 palm trees, ride in donkey (optional), then return towards Agadir

Extraordinary place to discover, but beware of the extreme heat; fortunately, you will find refreshing drinks and multiple shaded rest areas at the end of this oasis.
We organised a private transfer from Agadir Airport to the Pilkalbatros hotel and everything was absolutely perfect. Communication was great via WhatsApp and when we arrived their driver was already waiting for us. He spoke good English and we were able to get to our hotel quickly after leaving the airport. Abdul who organised everything for us was very efficient. We look forward to seeing you again in our next visit 🙏
We went there on our own and pure chance came across Ahmed guide referenced by the backpacker guide (who also has a guest house). Exciting guide who taught us a lot about the area. To do, it is very pretty. Possible to visit on donkeyback
