If you can swim and breathe through a snorkel, you can SNUBA®. We give you a full orientation and stay close by the whole time, so even if you’re new to underwater breathing, you’ll feel like a pro in no time. Fun experience. Friendly staff, Pat and Webb were great!! Lots of sea life to see. The only downfall was my kids couldn’t do Snuba due to having asthma, we didn’t see that disclaimer ahead of booking but they enjoyed the boat ride and snorkeling.
The staff for Destin Snorkel was excellent. This review does not reflect on them in any way. We had signed up for the SNUBA Adventure. Upon check-in we were given a questionnaire to complete (we had already signed our releases online). My wife was unable to participate due to her asthma. We didn't find out until literally as we were about to board the boat. The promotional brochure proclaims, "If you can swim you can SNUBA". We don't disagree with the prudency of the restriction, just the lack of information around it. Had we known ahead of time we could have either secured a doctor's approval (impossible at the time of boarding) or planned other events accordingly.

We understand how disappointing it must have been to learn this at check in. All the staff was so kind, knowledge, and informative as to what was going on and going to happen. They were so awesome! My son and I had an incredible core memory with them, the waters were a little chilly (because it was very early in the morning) so we were about to not go down and scuba dive,because we were already out snorkeling and were freezing by the time we were about ready to dive, but the captain convinced us to go out! We were SO grateful he did, we would have missed out. Thank you to an INCREDIBLE team..and they even took us out to see the dolphins! Highly recommend!!
