After pickup from your Las Vegas hotel you'll leave Las Vegas behind as you travel to Boulder City, home to the Hoover Dam. Known as one of the world's greatest feats of engineering, the Hoover Dam, sits 726ft above the mighty Colorado River which flows between Arizona and Nevada. Constructed between 1931 and 1936 during the Great Depression and spanning Black Canyon, Hoover Dam demonstrates a massive effort involving thousands of workers.
You'll first stop along the Bypass Bridge for photo opportunities. As you stroll across the Dam from Nevada to Arizona, be sure to look down for a unique view of the Dam's walls. You'll then take the Interior Tour of the Dam (non-private) which will included in depth look of the inner workings of this magnificent structure.
Following your 40-minute tour, stop for another photo opportunity at the Lake Mead Overlook to view the largest reservoir in the United States.
After your Hoover Dam experience, your guide will take you on a historical journey through Las Vegas. You'll cruise down the famous Las Vegas Strip, stop downtown to see Fremont street (the original Las Vegas) and take photos at the 'Welcome to Las Vegas' sign! This tour was outstanding and exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide, Joel, was personable and very informative. He clearly enjoys what he does and it shows through his efforts to make the tour as enjoyable as possible for the customers. The drive back and forth to the dam was extremely pleasant and educational (the new van was roomy and comfortable). We had plenty of time for the tour of the dam (which is also great) and exploring the surrounding sites. Finally, the tour of Vegas (driving the Strip and walking Fremont Street) provided a ton of history I did not know despite visiting Vegas regularly for over 30 years. Joel went above and beyond by walking with us up and down Fremont Street, giving us interesting (and often funny) insights into the city's history. Thank you for an enjoyable, memorable experience!

We had a great time visiting the Hoover Dam and Las Vegas. The company was so easy to work with and reached out ahead of time to confirm pick up and provided us with contact information for our driver. Paul, our driver and tour guide, was amazing and very knowledgeable! He made the tour more enjoyable for our 14-year-old twins. He was very accommodating and even made a stop at In-N-Out for my son, who wanted to try the burgers.

We loved this tour. It hit all the highlights of the Hoover Dam and Vegas strip/ Fremont St. Our guide Joel Clark was a fountain of knowledge of both the Hoover Dam and Vegas in general! Time and money well spent!! Highly recommend both the tour and Joel!

If you are doing this tour, request for Paul. He is knowledgeable and very engaging. Not only that, he is also very flexible and willing to modify our tour based on our requests (not outrageous). This tour is perfect if you’re traveling with a teenager and / or young adult. I recommend this tour!!!

We signed up for a private tour of Hoover Dam. Our host was Craig, and he was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, funny, and fun. We also got a bonus of seeing Bighorn Sheep. A very enjoyable day - highly recommended.
