The old town has preserved the rectangular Roman plan and traces of an amphitheatre can still be noticed in its famous Piazza dell'Anfiteatro. Another urban attraction of Lucca is Via Fillungo, a lively cobbled street filled with unique shops, restaurants and neighborhood people. Don't miss the Guinigi Tower and its roof garden, the Clock Tower and St. Martin's Cathedral; last but not least, we would strongly advise you to take a relaxing walk on the city walls, in the shade of the trees, from where you can enjoy wonderful views over the city and its rooftops. Our driver was so polite and he was ontime as well as going the extra mile to accommodate our small groups requests. Touring with our group of 6 friends was fun, and we made some memories traveling to Lucca and Pissa and back to our ship just in time!
