The Bodrum Underwater Archaeology Museum, housed within the historic Bodrum Castle, is regarded as one of the world’s leading underwater museums. Showcasing artifacts recovered from shipwreck excavations in the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas, the museum offers valuable insights into maritime history. Some of the most remarkable exhibits include the Uluburun Shipwreck—one of the oldest known shipwrecks, dating back to the 14th century BC—the Glass Wrecks Collection, ancient amphorae, maritime-related jewelry and tools, as well as shipwrecks from the Roman and Ottoman eras.
The Bodrum Windmills, one of the iconic landmarks of the city, were constructed in the 18th century and served the region for many years by grinding wheat. Situated on the hills between Bodrum and Gümüşlük, these historic structures offer a captivating panorama—especially during sunset—making them a favorite spot for visitors and photographers alike.
The Myndos Gate, a surviving section of the ancient defensive walls of Halicarnassus (modern-day Bodrum), was constructed during the reign of King Mausolus. It marks one of the key locations where Alexander the Great faced fierce resistance during his attempt to capture the city in 334 BC. Today, visitors can see remnants of the ancient city walls, defensive moats, and buried tomb structures. As one of the most significant historical landmarks reflecting Bodrum’s ancient heritage, the Myndos Gate is a must-visit site for anyone interested in history.
Bodrum Ancient Theatre, one of the oldest monuments in the city, dates back to the 4th century BC and was built during the reign of Mausolus, the ruler of Caria. Reflecting the characteristic design of Hellenistic period theatres, it could seat up to 13,000 spectators. Remarkably well-preserved, the theatre continues to host concerts and cultural events today. With its stunning view overlooking Bodrum Castle and the Aegean Sea, it provides visitors with a truly unforgettable experience.
At the end of your private tour, we will drop you back at the Bodrum cruise port or Yalıkavak yacht marina or your hotel in Bodrum, depending on your pick-up location. We hope to welcome you back to Turkey soon for more unforgettable tours.

Luxury van, nice guide, bottled water provided but ending at a rug store for the sole purpose of being expected to buy one was a real turn off
Mr Soleman is great. A sweet, knowledgeable person. The company however makes them take you to a bunch of stores where they'll give you a hard sell. Buyer beware.
The guide and driver picked us up at the port. The vehicle (a minivan) was nice and clean, but difficult to get in and out of, because of minimum room at the door. The tour was comprehensive, however we didn't go into the castle at Bodrum as it was a very hot day and we didn't feel like climbing up stairs in the heat. We were taken to another couple of places of interest, but due to the heat we asked to be returned to the ship by 3pm. The guide seemed knowledgeable and gave us much information about the places we visited.
We had a professional knowledgeable tour guide Memeth who shared interesting facts about Ephesus, House of Virgin Mary and Sirince Village. An enjoyable full day tour well worth your time in Kusadasi, Turkey!!!
