Not enough information

The Guide Father Marc was very pleasant but short on depth of information. It was a fun tour but we should have seen more for the cost of the tour.

The itinerary given to me...

The itinerary given to me when I booked was not the same as what the guide used. We missed some major sites that we wanted to see. We were told it would be 4-5 hour tour, and it was exactly 4 hours. The guide was adamant that it couldn’t be a minute more than 4 hours, so we were very rushed and didn’t see all of the sights we expected to see based on the itinerary provided ahead of time. When we brought this discrepancy to her attention, she seemed very agitated and insistent that the tour we were getting was the “standard tour” even when we showed her the itinerary we had received ahead of time and thus were expecting for our tour.

Operator response

Thank you very much for your feedback! We are really sorry to hear you didn't enjoy in full your private tour. In itinerary says that this tour could be always customized accordingly your interests. As your guide stated you did prefer to spend more time on previous sights so she had to end up with less time on other attractions. What im saying is if you want to stay more then one hour in Vaasa museum please be ready that probably there won't time be left for other museum. Best regards

Mark was a poor guide. He...

Mark was a poor guide. He did not know the itinerary and failed to give adequate information about the sites. He failed to stop at the Palace for an hour and passed the old village. He only returned to it after I told him this was on the itinerary. The fee charged for this tour was exorbitant in view of the quality of the tour provided. I would had a better experience on the much cheaper hop on hop off bus.

Operator response

Dear Helene, thank you very much for coming back to us with your feedback! We will definitely have a conversation with our guide regarding this specific date and tour. Our manager will contact you immediately regarding compensation. We apologize for the inconvenience. The Guide Father
