pick up at 8,00 am The meeting point will be at the Port of Civitavecchia, exactly at the cruise ship dock. We will pick you up by a comfortable car and bring you in one hour to the center of Rome. Pickup Locations & Times
Pickup at 8:00 AM at Civitavecchia Cruise Terminal. We'll meet you right at the pier where you ship docks. Your driver will be standing by your ship's gangplank posting your name. Please do not walk out of the port and wait for your driver right below the ship. Important: The transfer we will provide is simply for convenience and should only be considered as such. The transfer drivers do not speak English , your English-speaking tour will begin when we meet in Rome (the driver knows where to go!). Please relax during the transfer and prepare any questions you may have for when we meet.

This was my kids favorite tour! Our driver, Carmine, picked us up promptly at the shop and drove us to Rome. We then met our guide for the day, who took us on all the back streets and to all the main sites, while sharing so much Roman history. He even showed us the best pizza and gelato! We got back to the shop with plenty of time to spare before embarking! We would absolutely recommend this excursion to anyone traveling to Rome on a cruise!

What an amazing day!!! We were on a cruise and we only had a day in Rome. Nick picked us up right on the docks and took us straight to Rome. He took us to off beaten views, as well as, all the hot attractions. He knew all the back ways and got us to see more than we expected. He took us to an amazing place for lunch where they rolled out the red carpet. Nick was fun, knowledgeable and speaks English very well. This was very worth it!!! Thanks...

Our guide in Rome, Claudio, was absolutely fantastic! He captivated myself, my husband and 4 children (ages 4-11) with his knowledge and passion for Rome as he lead us to everything we wanted to see in Rome (and more) including a guided tour through the Vatican museums and Saint Peter’s Basilica. THE BEST EXPERIENCE!!! From the day I booked our tour, Roberta was quick to communicate and assist. Ivano is our favorite tour guide EVER!! He was prompt, waiting for us at our ship when we arrived. Very genuine, funny and knowledgeable! With him we were able to experience authentic Rome. We saw all the main attractions, but the hidden gems he brought us to were our favorite. My family of 8 thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We were picked up at the Port in two very comfortable vans and transported to Rome to the luxury golf carts. Although we had a very limited time in Rome, 4 hrs, we sailed through the side streets in the golf carts and managed to see the main sights of Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum and the Vatican. We had an incredible lunch at a restaurant recommended by Ivano. Ivano and his colleague were so knowledgeable and took great care of us. We loved our time with DGS and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a special shore excursion with a limited time.
