We only offer pick-ups at private residences or hotels within our designated pick-up area. Pick-up times vary depending on your location and traffic conditions. Your guide will send the exact pick-up time the afternoon before your tour via email. Please also check your Viator Message Center. Certain areas in Miami Beach cannot be serviced directly due to local city code restrictions. If your address is in a restricted zone, we will assign the nearest legal and safe meeting point. All final details will be available in your TripAdvisor InfoCenter the afternoon before your tour. Florida weather changes quickly. The tour operates rain or shine. Miami Beach Pick-Up Regulations Miami Beach does not allow pick-ups on the road. Stopping at the curb — even for just a few seconds — can result in high fines issued by the city. ⚠️ To stay compliant and ensure your safety, we only pick up at hotels with a private driveway or loading ramp where we can safely pull in without blocking the street. If your hotel does not have its own driveway : You will receive a nearby meeting point at a hotel with a legal loading area. This meeting point will always be within short walking distance. It will appear in your final confirmation email.

Christian was very helpful and had a lot of knowledge of the Everglades and within it. On the way on the bus he had print outs of the different ecosystems and gators. Overall he and all the staff were very helpful.

This was a great tour. The organisation was perfect and smooth. We were told the night before what time we will get collected the following day and Christian was on time for collection. Christian was super knowledgable and interesting with the information he gave us on the bus ride to the Everglades. The actual boat ride and Gater talk were both great too. Would recommend this tour.

Excellent experience and informative
Absolute rip-off! We were supposed to be picked up early in the morning at our hotel, but nobody came! Provided telephone number of Bananajoetours only an answering machine to reach. No response to our messages. By email then later, we would not have been at the meeting point, the guide would have tried to reach us by phone and WhatsApp ( is not true ) and as proof a photo of any other hotel. That's it for Banana Joe and our paid money gone.
Danke für dein Feedback 🙂 Ehrlich gesagt klingt das Ganze ein bisschen wie ein klassischer „Wir waren da – ihr auch – aber irgendwie im Paralleluniversum“-Moment 🤷♂️ Unser Guide war jedenfalls pünktlich am Hotel, hat sogar mit dem Concierge gesprochen 🏨 – und da war leider niemand von euch zu sehen. Gleichzeitig sagst du, ihr wart auch da und habt 10 Minuten gewartet… irgendwer hat sich da definitiv knapp verpasst 😅 Wir haben außerdem versucht, dich telefonisch und per WhatsApp zu erreichen 📞 – leider ohne Erfolg. Kommunikation ist in solchen Momenten halt entscheidend. ABER: Wir haben euch den vollen Betrag trotzdem erstattet 💸 Auch wenn unser Guide da war und bereit – wir wollten es fair lösen. Schade, dass die Tour dadurch nicht stattgefunden hat. Vielleicht klappt’s beim nächsten Mal besser – dann hoffentlich im gleichen Universum 🌴🚐
Great trip, first with timely pick-up of our guide Christian, who provided a super nice and interesting introduction to Everglades on the way in the bus. Then a super exciting tour by airboat and plenty of alligator spots along the way in the Everglades Holiday Park, and super engaging guided tour by our captain Victor. Good time afterwards to visit the exhibition and watch alligatorshow. Everything went smoothly, good info and plenty of humor and good mood along the way. Can definitely be recommended.

We were traveling with our guide Ruslan as a couple, so to speak privately, as we had probably booked the tour as the only one. Everything worked fine and Ruslan was a competent and friendly guide to us. We therefore gladly recommend it to others.
