Description
Experience the magic of the city while peace descends on Copenhagen. The tour is particularly aimed at those who would like to enjoy the architectural gems and historic buildings from the water side. The tour take place at a leisurely pace, where there is time and space to have fun and talk. The kayaks are stable double sea kayaks, which means that anyone can sail them. We will make small stops on our tour where we stay in the kayaks. Here will your guide tell some history and knowledge about some of the great buildings we are passing by such as Christiansborg Palace, Gammel Strand - the oldest harbor in Copenhagen and The Black Diamant. You will meet your guide at Kalvebod Bølge for instructions, changing clothes and getting into the kayaks. People under the age of 15 sail together with an adult in a double kayak. The actual tour takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.

This is the start and end location. Here you will meet your guide, get changed and in/out of the kayak.
One of the main bridge which connect Copenhagen with Amager. We will sail under the bridge.

Se the front of the palace from the kayak and get a bit of history about the place.
See one of Copenhagen's oldest buildings from the kayak. Build by HRH Christian IV in 1620.
This four-storey rectangular building was built by Axel Berg (1856-1929) for the Privatbanken in the years 1901-1904.
Christianshavn was built by HRH Christian IV in 1617, who wanted to protect Copenhagen's city and harbor from attack. We sail though the canal and see some of the many old buildings and houseboats.
See the Royal Library and The Black Diamant from the waterside.
One of the newer buildings at the waterfront from 2017.
We sail under one of many bridges only made for bicycles and walking on our way back to Kalvebod Bølge.

we had a fun time! very nice tour guide. the kayaking is not difficult, I did it for the first time. tips: bring a towel, they recommend to do the kayaking without shoes/socks on, so you can dry off your feet afterwards. also, wear pants that you can pull up a bit so they won’t get all wet at the bottom. we haf perfect weather, I would imagine it wouldn’t be a lot of fun when it‘s raining…
