Great tour if you're short on time but want to see some of the Hungarian countryside. Our guides, Anita and Kristi, were excellent hosts, showcasing some superb examples of Hungarian viticulture.
Our amazing trip to Budapest with my friends and I can only give 5 stars to this wonderful city! Our experience began with a visit to the legendary Caffè New York, a historic and fascinating place that is a must for every visitor. Its Art Nouveau architecture and elegant atmosphere left us breathless. The following day, we took a cruise on the Danube, which allowed us to see the city from a unique perspective. The sunset over the river was simply magical, with the city lighting up with lights and colours. We also visited Parliament, Buda Castle and St. Stephen's Basilica, all places that left an indelible impression on us. And what about Hungarian cuisine? We tasted goulash, lángos and other typical dishes, all delicious! Our experience in Budapest was made even more special by the company of my friends, with whom we shared laughter, adventures and unforgettable moments. Tip: If you haven't visited Budapest yet, don't hesitate! It is a city that will leave you breathless and make you fall in love with its history, culture and beauty.
Had a great day trip to the Etyek-Buda wine region with Krisztina. We went to both a larger and smaller winery that demonstrated the uniqueness of the region. It was a lovely walk thru the area where Krisztina shared a lot of information about the history. She has also worked as a sommelier and was able to answer any questions we had related to the wine.
Dear Susan, thank you so much for your booking and your precious review! It was a real pleasure to spend that lovely fall Sunday in Etyek with you and your husband. I hope to see you again one day so we can discover some more of our exciting wine regions! Best regards, Krisztina
We really wanted to get out of Budapest and into the country to chill out, but didn't really know how to get out there. So we booked the Etyek Tour. I'm not a big into wine culture, but my wife thought we should try it out. We both had a great time! We didn't have to travel far and felt like we reached a whole new dimension of great wine, good company and powerful stories. If it's your first time in Hungary or you're back for another visit- go for this wine tour, I highly recommend it!
