Salvo, our guide, was highly appreciated: quick and effective in responses before departure, punctual upon arrival, knowledgeable, engaging, and very friendly during the excursion, interesting and well-organized.
Dennis was a high energy, positive, engaging guide for our day trip to Mt. Etna from Taormina. Our hotel pickup was comfirmed the night before via WhatsApp messaging. We drove through Fiumefreddo and Linguaglossa into the Etna National Park. We had a quick stop at Chalet Clandeiragazzi for coffee and bathroom, and later returned for a pasta lunch (15 euros for fresh bruschetta, beer, pasta) . We hiked up a slow incline through old snow and then on gritty lava for views. In another area, we hiked through a lava tube, which included steep lava rock steps at both ends. Dennis made sure we were safe and comfortable, with plenty of gear such as hiking shoes, coats, poles, etc. He took a fun video of our group, and shared it with us. He made 100% sure we were entertained, and happily greeted all other guides we encountered. Recommend!
We booked two family excursions with Sicily adventure - an Etna/Alcantara gorge day trip and then a two hour boat cruise from Giardini Naxos. Both were great and the highlights of our trip to Sicily. The guides were friendly, accommodating and flexible - we travelled with a young child and a teenager in our group and on both tours they did a great job of helping us to make memories while keeping things light. Tour guides were friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Always a plus! I give no hesitation recommending. Lovely to get into nature and the Sicilian countryside and seashore. A beautiful country that we will remember fondly!
An excursion to do to see, appreciate and touch the gifts that nature reserves for us! A team of guides accompanied us with care and thoughtfulness and made us have 100% fun. Thanks Raimondo, Denis and Florian 💖
