Estancia 25 de Mayo in El Calafate - PM visit with dinner

Description
Estancia 25 de Mayo is a typical Patagonian ranch, with 17.000 hectares and its historical main house just a few minutes away from El Calafate downtown. This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the landscape at the base of Calafate Hill, offering to explore the rural lifestyle. The appointment is in the ranch’s park, in Kau Yatun Hotel’s gardens. Mate and typical fried pasties give a warm welcome while an introductory talk about pioneers’ history brings the group to ancient ages. After making an antique “road” coffee, dogs will demonstrate their driving the sheep to the patio. Later on, a walk by a small stream will lead to a “Machines museum”, an open air spot where the old vehicles used for field work are laying. When reaching the “warehouse” and the barnyards, a speech about the local wool production process is delivered. The walk concludes with a “Patagonian wine tasting” by the stream and, on the way back, the organic gardens and plant nursery are visited.

A very nice experience, the attention, walk walked, and dinner, beautiful, worth doing.
We had a very nice night with the family. We were taken care of by Nahuel very kindly. All the service is excellent. Very good food, hearty, exquisite desserts. Very warm place. Wonderful musicians and dancers. We will definitely recommend it to our friends upon our return in Buenos Aires
Excellent option for those who do not know the life and activities of the Argentine countryside. To which is added a rich dinner with Patagonian lamb and a folkloric show. In a welcoming and picturesque atmosphere
Went with 14 college students and professors. They did an excellent job describing like on a ranch. Students loved it. The diner and show was exceptional.
Disappointing. A Tourist trap. Expensive and mediocre experience. More like Disney Land than a true Estancia. We were supposed to have a horse ride around the Estancia, but it was around the garden of the house. We were supposed to see the workings of the sheep heard an and saw a funny comedy with sheep.
The experience is fascinating, adrenaline, wonderful landscapes, total beauty, the guides Diego and Vicky 🙌🏽 like the 🐴😀
A trip without high expectations, which turned out to be quite pleasant. The Estancia is very close to the center of Calafate, and the structure set up to receive tourists is very well organized. Accompanied by a guide, we learn about the history of the pioneers and the activities carried out at the resort. At various times, delicious typical food and drinks are offered, ending with a very well served dinner and a show with folk music and dances. I recommend.
Fully enjoyed the day ! Beautiful property and learned about the history of the ranch. We watched a demonstration of sheep herding and shearing. Participated in milking a cow as well as watching 2 rancheros competing in a horse barrel race. We added the 3 hour horse back ride and so glad we did. The luncheon was also Very good and plentiful .
Interesting experience, filled with cultural activities of the Estancia, including a sheep-shearing demonstration. We enjoyed a bountiful dinner with entertainment by Patagonian dancers to conclude our day.
Fun experience, good food, good show, a little touristy, but a good way to get the basics of the estancia experience within a (very) short drive of El Calafate. Note that this experience isn't coordinating through the estancia directly, it's through a tour agency. Communication with them was a little choppy and the van was 30 minutes late for pickup, so expect some potential hiccups if booking through this link.
