You can visit the monumental complex above an Andalusian palatal city located in Granada, Spain. It consists of a set of ancient palaces, gardens and fortresses (alcazaba, from Arabic: القصبة al-qaṣbah : 'citadel') initially conceived to house the emir and court of the Nasrid kingdom, later as residence of the kings of Castile and their representatives. Its artistic uniqueness lies in the interiors of the Nasrid palaces, whose decoration is among the peaks of Andalusian art, as well as in its location and adaptation, which generated a new landscape but fully integrated with pre-existing nature. In addition, it houses a museum of Andalusian art, the main pinacoteca of the city and a former convent turned national parador.

Important Information

  • The marked time is entrance to the monument, it is not the time of entry in Palacios, that area will have a special time
  • All clients must be available from 8:30 to 20:00pm in order to make their full visit. Otherwise they will be able to access the monument but if they do not meet the schedule of Palacios they will lose the visit of that specific area, not the rest of the monument
  • Those visitors who make reservations staying in other cities than Granada, especially in distant cities such as Cordoba or Seville are solely responsible for any incident that means arriving late for visits and losing their right of access
  • Booking requests less than 72 hours in advance cannot as a rule be answered before 12 hours prior to visiting hours and priority is given to visitors who can demonstrate accommodation in Granada
  • IMPORTANT. : The reservation is firm. The Alhambra regulations issued by the Government of the Junta de Andalucia expressly prohibit both cancellations and modifications of date, time or name of the reserved tickets.
  • If your tickets are not received the day before the visit, the reservation is automatically cancelled and the full amount of the reservation will be refunded. We only confirm a minimum number of last-minute requests (a month or less in advance) that we can normally respond positively, but we can’t assure them 100%.
  • Bookings made less than 45 days in advance are not guaranteed to have the same Palaces time for all components of the booking

Amazing place to visit.

Very difficult to find direction for where to start audio guide. We ended up walking around it with no audio guide. A bit disappointing. Need for sign posting in English. Struggle to find someone that spoke English to help us.

Amazing Guided Tour of the Alhambra

We had a wonderful experience visiting the Alhambra with our guide. The tour was very well organized, and the guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history of this incredible place. We learned many fascinating details that we would have missed on our own. The architecture, gardens, and views were breathtaking. The guide made the visit enjoyable and engaging for everyone in the group. We highly recommend this guided tour to anyone visiting Granada. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Scam!!!!!

Do not engage with this tour operator! All bad reviews are true! Ridiculously high asking price for 0 service. I've never been treated more rudely than by this man, Antonio. We booked tickets weeks in advance and a day before the excursion we are told that we (son of 15 and I) cannot enter the palaces together. After I said I don't get that and didn't want to, we were called stupid tourists who had to stay on the beach. On other sites clearly readable that it is not possible to visit the palaces separately, so this man is completely incapable of arranging his own expensive tours. Scam, scam artist! Then he cancelled our tour and we were left with expensive bus tickets that we could not ask for back. I hope one day to have the opportunity to see the Alhambra, with another organization. Fortunately later that week fantastic experience on another excursion with Get your guide, recommended! Unfortunately, I can't give 0.

Amateur management

The provided audio guide is terrible, recorded in an amateurish manner, full of interruptions, lacking essential information, and without clear directions on how to visit the Alhambra. The reception staff is well-prepared and very helpful. Always check the header of the tickets: Viator made a gross mistake by sending me the ticket of another person!!! I risked not visiting the Nasrid Palace. Terrible value for money

You pay 3 times the real...

You pay 3 times the real price of the ticket. I find terrible that they’re allowed to buy several tickets and then resell it for a much higher price

This is especially relevant when official availability is very limited close to the selected date. Unfortunate experience !!!!

The experience was the worst possible!!! Sorry!!! I'm on a 25 year married trip through Spain and my wife's dream was to meet the Alhambra in Granada. I bought the tickets there in advance by Viator for a visit on 28/06 at 10:30. I received the ticket and when I went into the complex each ticket was with a visiting date my for the day 28/06 13:30 and my wife's for the day 29/06 for 13:00. My hotel reservations were scheduled for this visit I arrived on 27/07 and the departure was at 12:00 on 29/06. When I contacted making the complaint they said that unfortunately I had nothing to do and immediately canceled the tickets and received a message of refund. To sum up I lost money, days of travel and the most unfortunate was the immeasurable frustration !!!!

We easily obtained the tickets by following the organizer's instructions; they were attentive to us, the visit was very beautiful, and we had a great time. Make sure to bring a bottle of water as the heat can be intense.

The ticket went well, but I recommend reading carefully. The Alhambra is VERY big, so I recommend hiring a guide.

Expensive quality-price relationship

It is true that it was difficult to find tickets for that weekend, but in the end, for what we paid, the quality/price ratio was lacking. The tickets were worth less than half of what we paid, and the guide is not worth much; we used AI to get detailed information. One point for improvement, besides updating it, is to send it via WhatsApp from the beginning and not send the customer to pick something up at a different location from the ticket.

Usted ha pagado ese precio porque le hemos conseguido dos plazas de acceso al monumento a su nombre cuando no habia plazas libres a 30 días vista. Es decir usted paga las decenas de horas de trabajo que supone buscarles una entrada. La audioguía es un regalo, no forma parte del precio. Por otro lado, el centro de visitantes de recogida de las audioguías está a 50 metros del Pabellón de Acceso, no más, es decir que no hablamos de nada lejano ni fuera del itinerario normal de cualquier visitante. Por otro lado no todos los clientes tienen whatsapp, aunque parezca raro, por tanto se usa un medio general e igual para todos los visitantes el Chat de Viator por el que se comunican con nosotros y que consta por escrito para control de la plataforma evitando así malentendidos y otros problemas derivados de la desidia de algunos visitantes Atentamente Saludos
