This Dahabiya cruise was the best part of our Egypt trip! 💖🚢 From Luxor to Aswan, we enjoyed quiet sailing, delicious food, and visits to wonderful temples. The small group made it feel private and special. Highly recommend!

The 4-day-3-night Nile cruise was a breathtaking experience. As we sailed along the serene waters, we marveled at the iconic temples and monuments dotting the riverbanks. The highlight of this leg was the extraordinary hot-air balloon ride at sunrise. Floating above the Valley of the Kings, we witnessed the ancient wonders bathed in the golden glow of dawn, creating an unforgettable memory.

This 4-day 3-night cruise was part of my 8-day trip to Egypt. I am very impressed by how the cruise was organized. Cupid booked my cruise along with my sleeper train tickets from and back to Cairo/Giza. A driver picked me up from my Cairo hotel, sent me to the Giza station. After the train arrived at the Aswan station, I was picked up by a driver and transferred to the cruise ship. I was grouped with other 9 travelers during the cruise and led by a tour guide. The entires tour was conducted just like what was presented to me at the time of the booking. After the group finished the Luxor schedule, we were welcomed back to the cruise to wait for our driver to send us to the train station. Overall, I enjoyed very much of the trip. I like the country, the history, and mostly the people in Egypt!

My friend and I had a wonderful time in the 4days/3 nights cruise from Aswan to Luxor. We booked from Viator and the agency running the package was Egypt Tours - both of them answered all of our questions and doubts timely, the food on the cruise exceeded our expectations, considering it was a buffet. The key element that made all the difference in our trip was our guide: GHADA KAMEL. On our second day the cruise delayed to arrive at Luxor and about 30 minutes before Karnak Temple closing time. We know the other groups rushed to get to the temple and I think they only had 20 minutes to see it all - we heard several complaints during dinner time. Our guide changed our schedule to visit Karnak Temple on the following day, so we could have a full hour visit and time enough to take pictures and appreciate all the pieces of the temple. After the cruise, we decided last minute to visit Dandara Temple and she managed to get all the government authorizations and driver on time for our trip. All inclusive n all it was perfect!!!

Incredible trip. The views, the cruise and the food... Everything is impeccable. Our guide Ramzy is very friendly and hospitable. He takes good care of us and gives us very useful information. The last day we had lunch in his colleague’s place with his family and it was one of our unforgettable moments. Highly recommended!!!

The cruise was four stars, but my guide (Ramzy) is worth five stars, he’s the absolute best. He made us feel comfortable and although we were his first clients since the pandemic he shared a lot of knowledge! After our tour ended I was still able to ask for his help which shows how genuine and kind he is. When you book a tour, ask for him!!!

Booked this 5D4N Nile Cruise tour for two from CupidEgypt company as it was the cheapest and best value tour including Abu Simbel we could find online prior to our visit. Was a bit skeptical to book initially as there was no review. Viator sent me the confirmation email which included a phone number to contact the agency. It took a while initially before receiving reply from manager of the company, Hany as the phone number was one of his employee's. Hany responded well to all our inquiries through Whatsapp throughout the whole tour with good manner and prompt response. This tour included 4N stay in cruise, 3 buffet-meals/day (from lunch on 1st day to breakfast on last day), transportation to attraction sites in AC minivan. Entrance fee, tips/baksheesh (custom in Egypt) plus drinks were not included. Our cruise Renaissance was slightly old but clean and had friendly staffs. Housekeeping was available daily and towels were replaced in a creative manner. A very old fashioned hair dryer was available in the bathroom. Hot water was available for shower but water pressure could sometimes be very low. No mineral waters were supplied. Restaurant was located at the basement with following meal time: breakfast 7.30-9am, lunch 1-2pm, dinner 7-8pm. Drinks were available to buy. Tips for cruise staff was collected on check-out in an envelope (EGP30 per person/night). CupidEgypt company had contracted individual local tour guides to give us a tour. It was supposed to be group tour but as we were the only customers it turned out to be a private tour except in Luxor where some visitors joined us. Entrance fees were not included and if you are under 30 and have a valid student card, you can receive 50% discount in all the attractions except Aswan Dam. A big thank you to all the tour guides we had, Mena and Mickel (Aswan), Ahmed (Kom Ombo), Samy (Edfu) and Mohammed (Luxor). They were all friendly and informative. We visited all the attractions as below: Day 1 – High Dam & Philae Temple (motorboat included) Day 2 – Abu Simbel (3am departure & no tour guide) & Kom Ombo (cruise only stopped for 1 hour) Day 3 – Edfu (5am departure + horse & carriage included) Day 4 – Karnak Temple & Luxor Temple Day 5 – Valleys of the Kings (Ramesses IV, Ramesses IX & Merenptah with optional visit to Tutankhamen tomb), Queen Hatschepsut Temple & Colossi of Memnon Overall very satisfied with this tour as it delivered what it promised. Would highly recommend for budget travelers and students!
