Itinerary
We will walk a circular path 3 km long through the peculiar limestone formations eroded over millions of years. The first, the famous Tormo Alto, appears at the beginning of the trail with an impossible shape with a narrow base and a wide "head". The Ships follow, immortalized in Conan the Barbarian and The Head of Man. The path then turns to leave the Roman Bridge and La Foca aside before entering the Tobogán, a gorge of more than 100 m. long and just a couple of meters wide. A little further on we will be amazed by The Elephant and the Crocodile, we will cross the arch of the Convent and we will find ourselves in the Plaza Mayor surrounded by giant Mushrooms. We will start the way back where we will admire La Tortuga, Los Osos and Los Amantes de Teruel. During the tour we will also find the most characteristic plant species of the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park: huge pines, yews, ivy and junipers
Next to the small town of Uña, with less than 100 inhabitants, is the spectacular lagoon to which it gives its name. The waters are surrounded by huge limestone cliffs where it is easy to see griffon vultures taking off from their vultures. The waters attract a multitude of ducks and storks and its 15 hectares are inhabited by various species of fish.
We can enjoy the two wonderful viewpoints of the Ventano del Diablo. One hangs about 80 meters above the waters of the Júcar River in the place of rapids known as Los Cortados. The other allows you to see the town of Villalba de la Sierra from above and the abandoned town of El Salto, built 100 years ago for the workers of the hydroelectric power station.

The excursion was very good, and the attention from the guide (Pablo) was also excellent.
Well, well, well... what can I say... It had been a while since I enjoyed a guided tour so much. I went with my aunt Mercedes, and Pablo treated us so well that we both left delighted with the morning we spent. Unmatched attention and such an enjoyable visit that, despite the slower pace my aunt and I had, it flew by. We are very grateful for their attention and professionalism and for the amount of information and curiosities we learned during the tours. Without a doubt, if I had to recommend a guide, I would highly recommend him to everyone. A man with such genuine naturalness and kindness that it touches the soul and truly makes you appreciate what a close and kind treatment is. Thank you for everything, from the heart. 10/10
Excellent guide. Paul doesn't just prove to be a space insider. He taught us a lot about geology and multiple legends of the enchanted city and the Devil's Window. An exceptional individual with an excellent humor and cordial.
Beautiful excursion with an exciting and energetic guide. Thank you again Pablo for a great time.
Impress the power of nature. Pablo is a perfect guide and has managed to guide the visit even with the drawback of a career
Pablo took us for a walk through the Serranía de Cuenca, Los Callejones de las Majadas, El Mirador del Ventano del Diablo... and he told us interesting facts and legends along the way. He is a great conversationalist, cultured, sociable and fun. He likes to share and is flexible with places and times depending on the temperature or particular circumstances. A very interesting experience. Thanks Pablo.
Tour essential if you visit Cuenca. The experienced and fun guide We avoid queues and crowding Beautiful landscapes
Must-see especially if you have children Hiking is easy about 3km , you can picnic there admiring beautiful natural sculptures and so you wander trying to discover the shapes that the wind and water have drawn so well
I totally recommend this route and more if you Guide the PAUL! He made us feel super comfortable, he has a gift of people and a unique way of speaking. Pablo, you were not wrong to choose this profession. The route was always enlivened by super interesting data and stories and legend. It is a MUST if you go to the basin to make this excursion. I for one will save this page to recommend to my friends if they want to visa there. See you out!
If you like nature and adventure sports is a town highly recommended to stay about 3/4 days. Canoeing is possible in the ma Toba swamp. Via ferrata in the devil's window, ravines. If you like trekking you can do 9km of the route of the staircase and the stripe. Something lighter around the Nail Lagoon. Bathe in the freezing waters of the pools and recharge energy.
