Milton was a great guide. This was a very unique and engaging experience. From the river canoe and waterfall to the welcoming and submersive tribe experience. We had a great time.
Great guide nice village. Wouldn’t have paid for lunch option if I would have know it was only one type of food. Fish, my husband and I have an allergy and couldn’t eat. Disappointed as we were very hungry after a long day of adventure
It was exactly as promised in the write up. Very well organized and so much fun. The only thing I would add is take cash, they don’t have cc machines in the middle of the jungle and their crafts are beautiful!!!
We enjoyed walking in the jungle to the waterfall, the views and feelings are like no other! The fresh caught tilapia was delicious, despite my hesitation! Absolutely no regrets!
Wonderful experience from start to finish.. Our guide Oscar was exceptional. Picked us up on time in a SUV (it was only our family) and while driving gave us great insights on the country culture, history and explained everything about the canal as well! Very knowledgeable. Took the pirogue in the Chagres river (amazing) and did the trail to the fall (jumped in the water!) Then visited the village with Aldo (our Embera guide) where we had a great lunch with lots of fruits! The village is amazing and they gave us a tour! My kids played soccer with some Embera kids. Would recommend the tour with kids (all age).
Alonso the tour guide and his team( the driver and Kenny) were just amazing on this tour. My husband had a knee replacement 10 months ago snd they stayed with him helping him all the way! In and out of the canoe, over some challenging rocks to the waterfall and back. So kind and informative ! We loved the Embrea Indian village tour it was spectacular. The people are beautiful and their handi crafts just lovely. Don’t hesitate to go in this fabulous tour snd experience! Thank you !
The highlight is getting to forget about the modern world with the original people of Embera village, and experience the canon, the river, the forest, the waterfall and a bit of culture and delicious food.
We ventured “just around the river bend” several times (like Pocahontas) on a serene motor canoe ride. We soon came upon a small, tranquil and welcoming Embera village. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those who can appreciate being educated about a precious, preserved culture. Lunch was delicious and dancing so enlightening! Recommended to take smaller money notes to purchase hand-crafted trinkets, if so desired.
Great trip from beginning my to end. Very well organised and exceptional tour guide Oscar really ensured that this trip was unique and special. Absolutely recommend!
I really enjoyed this experience and so did my group, we took a canoe to the village. then we did a hike through the rainforest to a waterfall where we swam..so majestic!! The indigenous ppl were very friendly, we ate fresh fish and fried plantains using a plant as a plate, the fresh fruit was the best I've had. They did 2 tradional dances and had hand crafted merchandise for purchase. Just be mindful some things to purchase were generic and can be found anywhere in Panama. I would recommend. The pics weren't uploaded so sorry for that
