“Embark on a Professional and Passionate Scuba Diving Adventure!"

This is about the dive and not the experience, per se. Don't expect the typical cruise experience for an excursion. The pre-education was exceptional. This is the 3rd time I've done a similar excursion and this is the best pre-education I have received by far. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. The actual dive was rough. The day we were there, it was very choppy. The water was not clear and it was hard to see each other. We ended up going to a shallower location. I, personally, struggled with the choppy, murky water and was unable to do the dive, but my two adult children enjoyed the dive and felt the guide was amazing.

We had an amazing dive with Chris at Alux divers. They worked with a cruise ship schedule and were just outstanding. We saw an abundance of sea life beautiful reef. Chris pointed out cow fish, rays and much more. So grateful for the guide and support with instruction. A must Do if you have the time. Thank you Alux and Chris.

Mahahual was a diving destination we chose. As experienced divers with their own equipment, we were looking for a small-scale diving center. We visited several dive centers and the friendly and open reception by Gabriel appealed to us. They also used a neat, competitive pricing. The first dives close to the shore were fine. We also wanted to go to Banco Chunchirro (absolute must!), but that day they didn't sail there themselves. They neatly arranged places with a colleague so we could come along. Then we spent two more days diving with Gabriel and Morgan. Great! Excellent service, completely complete. They speak fluent English. The owner, Alex(andros) was all kindness. Highly recommended.

Alux divers was great. My wife and I did a two tank dive with a refresher class. Our kids did a discover Scuba class and we came back after our first dive to pick them up and all go together for their dive. Morgan was great with us and Gabriel worked with the kids and was very patient helping them out with any issues. Alejandro was very professional with all the arrangements, questions and instructions including getting there from the cruise terminal, etc. and forwarding some pictures the following day. Would definitely do it again and highly recommend.

This is a fantastic scuba experience for beginners. My instructor Candela was so patient and really helped me a lot when I got a little nervous on the descent. You feel 100% prepared before the dive. The owner Alex is great and very communicative before the tour. They’re super flexible and let you do everything at your own pace— you never feel rushed or pressured. Each participant is paired with their own instructor so you feel super safe. If I came back to Roatan I’d definitely do this again and bring friends. One of the best tours I’ve taken on Viator!

Awesome 2 tank dive with Gabby! Super friendly staffers Morgan and Julia. Highly recommend, by far the best dive of my life. Just 5-8 min taxi from cruise port. Way better than any cruise ship excursion. Spent about 45min under per dive and saw vast array of fish + Moray eel. A must do when visiting Costa Maya!!!

We had a great day diving with Alex and his team. After not diving for a few years he offered a refresher before our main dives. He managed our nerves really well and was able to distill confidence without ever pushing. We felt so safe and we saw some amazing sea life. We will hopefully be returning to Alex in a few days!

Hands down one of the best dive shops I’ve ever gone diving with. We were a mixed group of divers, 2 very experienced divers and 2 new divers, and Alex, Julia, and Gabby were absolutely fantastic. Alex chose sights that would be appealing for the experienced divers but not too challenging for the newbies. He led the overall group while Julia or Gabby gave close personal attention to some of the needs of our newer divers. Friendly, accommodating, and professional. They perfectly balanced the laid back feel of the region with the excitement of the breathtaking dive sites in the area and the professionalism of an experienced dive shop. We will absolutely be coming back to dive with Alux Divers again.

This was a very unique, and interesting experience. Our guide, Gabriel, was extremely professional, spoke English very well making it very easy to understand everything he was saying & explaining, and was extremely through and insightful throughout the whole experience. He allowed us to be able to go at our own pace, and we did not feel rushed, or compelled to do anything. This is definetly an experience I would love to do again, the amount of good things I could say is endless.
